I came here on a Sunday with just my son and I on April 21st. From the very beginning. I didn’t like the vibe from this place. It all started from when we came into the door, approached Ryan who was in the front. We went up to him and he didn’t acknowledge us. At all. I tried to tell him table for two. But he completely cut me off and told me to wait for the hostess to help with requests. So we waited awhile. Until the “hostess” arrived at her work area. Only she also didn’t acknowledge my son and I. We kept waiting. Until I asked Ryan about the hostess. And he just rolled his eyes and said I’ll just help you. It was just a table for 2. That’s all. I gave him my phone number because it was asked upon which is normal for a Korean BBQ place. Wait time was about 15-20 mins. Understandable. They took us to our table. Only we had to share our table with another party. I asked the hostess if we can have our own table. She basically said too bad. You are sitting here. With an attitude. I just simply accepted it. My son and I sat with an other party. First of all. I took about 15 minutes for a waiter to take our drink and meat order. Second of all. They handed my son’s drink to the party next to us. Sitting in the same table. I had originally ordered tall a mango kart. That never arrived. We didn’t have tongs at our table. I had to ask 2 different servers for tongs. Why is that ? They delivered our meats with no tongs and I had to ask around for tongs. They never changed our grill but yet they changed the party sitting in our same table. Their grill about 4 times. I even counted. My beer never arrived. I kept waiting on it. Food was delicious. I just wish they had changed our grill. Service was horrible. At the end I asked for my beer. They responded with they didn’t have mango Kart available. Yet I still waited all this time for them to tell me that. I settled with a modelo. Would’ve been better to have known that information from the beginning. Also right when my son and I were done eating. Literally finished all the meats. That’s when they decided to change our grill. And we still waited for about 25 more minutes just to ask for the check and pay. My son kept saying he wanted to go home. I was on the same page as him. But we had to wait for a the servers to finish closing us out. No I didn’t tip. This has got to be the worst service I’ve ever received. Ever. From the moment we walked in and the moment we left. I’m never coming back to this establishment ever again in my life. I had made the Gen KBBQ at Fullerton my main staple in KBBQ places. And I wanted to give this location a try. Worst...
Read moreIve been to this location 3 times, everytime i visit the customer service got progressively worse. The first time was okay customer service like a 5/10 they forgot stuff and didnt check in with the table to often. but it wasnt the worst, they changed our grill 3 times for over an hour stay.
the second time was like a 3/10 I interacted with the lady in white who is at the front (i belive is the manager) a lot more and everytime i see her it feels so unwelcoming. she rolls her eyes, and will like grunt if we ask questions or need to wait for the rest of party. This time they only changed the grill once, which was fine, I was only there for about 30 minutes.
the most previous time i went, they deadbutt changed the grill over 10 times in under 20 minutes. As soon as we would start cooking the meat they would rush over and put it on another grill. The first 5 times me and my party just laughed it off, when they changed the grill they also took some of our meat that was on the grill aswell. So that kind of sucked cause we were loosing meat. after the 10th time of them changing the grill when they came back to change the Freshly Changed Grill from not even 2 minutes ago we politely declined and noted that they had just changed it. the person changing it huffed and walked away. everytime he passed he would side eye us. immediately after that the manager came up to us and changed our grill. Our grill wasnt overly steamy or anything out of the ordinary. They also have vents above the grill but wouldnt turn them on?! after that we started a stopwatch and asked them to not change the grill asmuch and they seemed a little offended. but they started changing every 4-5 minutes instead of 2 which was nice. Its just frustrating cause it took us longer to cook the food because they kept swapping out the grill and it had to reheat. The meat also lost some juice and flavor because the same meat would get moved 2-3 times. :(
The only reason i come back is because of the food, the meat is really good. But, after this past experience im not sure im coming back to this location.

Read moreI took my family here Saturday night 02/08/25 just for some middle of the road Korean bbq nothing fancy but also not cheap considering 3 people plus a 1 year old baby costs 100 bucks. I’ve been to a lot of other kbbq places all over and I can say without a doubt this has been the worst service I’ve ever received for so many different reasons,
my daughter was in a high chair and the employees walking by kept kicking her chair ( she’s a one year old and the wait staff wasn’t careful at all they would serve hot food and drop it right in front of my daughter!!!) this is legit services 101!!
Multiple times our waiter was checking in on every single table around us but ours. There were multiple times where our table had zero meat to cook ( this has legit never happened to me before at any other Kbbq place ever!!!!)
When our waiter did actually check in with us we ordered our meat and ask for certain sides because the servings for kimchi and cucumbers was embarrassingly small we would have to ask for the same things at least two times ( at least two there were times where we had to ask 3-4 times for the same items ) and be met with some kind of excuse as to why our waiter forgot.
The waiting staff was going to sing happy birthday to one of the other parties in the same room we were in which is fine my daughter is used to pretty loud environments But they started banging and scratching on plates and grills with spoons and yelling right in my daughter’s ear scaring the shit out of her causing her to cry.
I wanted to leave at least 3 different times because of how terrible the service was and how inconsiderate they were but my son and my partner were starving I would advise anyone to try somewhere else this place seems like the staff isn’t being watched maintained or even trained this place is pure chaos and it seems like the management doesn’t have any kind of eye or attention on anything happening...
