It pains me to write this, as this used to be my go-to comic shop. However, since the change in ownership, the customer service has taken a nosedive. It's become abundantly clear that if you're not a "fringe collector" dropping serious cash on Pokémon cards or snapping up multiple variant covers, you're simply not a priority here.

As someone with a pull list, I've experienced firsthand their lack of care. Updates are consistently slow, and the overall vibe is incredibly off-putting – ultra douche, to put it bluntly. It feels like they've completely forgotten about their regular customers in their pursuit of quick profits. It's no wonder this place would be Rob Liefeld's favorite store in Orange County; substance and customer appreciation are clearly afterthoughts. Do yourself a favor and find a shop that actually values its clientele. This one has lost its way.

Update: I move to an online retailer as a I got tired of the lack of care. Plus Midtown Comics bags and boards everything...

I've been going to this shop for four years on and off. The staff is super friendly and are always willing to help. The owner is shy, but super cool. The shop may look messy, but it is meticulously organized. The discount is nice and the selection is amazing. I always have to drive a little further (past 2 or 3 other comic book stores) to get to this shop, but it is completely worth it. This place always has what I am looking for. I have NEVER been disappointed. AND if they don't have what you are looking for (back issues or trade paper back etc) they will order it for you. Omg love the place and great friendly people working here, but when I went to go find books in the manga section, I legit couldn’t reach the top lol and I’m 6 feet tall 😂 but in the end I asked the worker for the books he helped me grab them and handed them to me. And told me i could use the ladder. Was rlly nice I just thought it would be funny to share this short story. Main point: very nice people, and I only went too the store once and I love the place which is unusually fast for me. If you like Manga, comics then this is a must go other then Barnes and nobles.
