Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Tustin

Very happy to have a Peet's in walking distance from our house! They aren't the most common coffee shop yet, in my opinion, some of the best coffee. The only downside is that there is very little inside seating. That being said, most people take their coffee to go because if you ever really want a spot, you can find one.

There is a plaza outside with plenty of tables but those can get a little too hot in the summer. Plus there are a lot of beetles buzzing around the trees and they can be very bothersome! But in the wintertime as long as you bundle up a bit you should be just fine outside.

As for our coffee, we usually order a simple hot latte and a cup of hot water that I use for my tea. We are always greeted with a warm 'hello' from the employees and if we came more often most likely they would welcome us by name. The Peet’s is too good to miss out.

I am from Australia, and I was about to leave the states on the day I visited, so I asked the staff to recommend me some coffee beans to bring home to try. The staff, Zoe, was so kind and helpful to explain and patiently waiting for me to decide. However, it was too hard to choose, I ended up requested 2 oz of each roast. It was such an annoying request, but Zoe was so kind and weighed, labelled and packed for me. It took her a while to finish, while she was helping me, her colleague was also very helpful to serve other customers. The experience here was exceptional!

The coffees were great. Both hot oat latte and cold oat latte were nice, which they use espresso forte for them.

A great shop not...

I don't normally review everyday places like Peets unless it's something worth noting. I don't know why this place is different but the customer service here was... pleasant. Making coffee is basically just a recipe but they really have great customer service here. I don't know if it's individual staff or management but thank you to all of the above.

For those wondering if you should come to this Peets, it is quaint with easy parking and indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is a nice patio that's very pleasant at all times of the day. Not uncommon to see one or two people reading ACTUAL news papers...
