We visited this place for the volcano drinks, hoping the kids would be thrilled. They were, but the overall experience was far from pleasant. The cashier was incredibly rude.
I brought my children, who were simply admiring the treats and were genuinely impressed by the variety. However, she got upset with them for looking. I also have a toddler who marveled at everything. She did touch a few things, but I was right by her to ensure nothing was damaged or taken.
The woman followed us and stared at us the entire time we were there. As my daughter was drinking her volcano drink, she went to the bathroom table and took the drink from her. My daughter was trying to finish the drink and removed the small container from inside the glass, scolding her not to because she’d burn herself. She finished the drink, and we continued browsing.
Then, the woman returned to the table and asked if we were done. Mind you, my other daughter had only taken a few sips of her drink and had gone to the bathroom. I politely replied that she was still drinking it.
My toddler then grabbed a toy tractor and started playing with it. She rudely asked if I intended to buy it, and if not, she shouldn’t touch it. At that point, I hurried my daughter to finish her drink, and we left.
Throughout the entire time, I watched my kids do nothing wrong, but the woman treated us as if we were an inconvenience. As long as they have such poor customer service, we will...
Read moreWhat a little gem!! Lovely. I have not eaten so well, been treated so sweetly, or had such delicious homemade candies in years.
Daisy's is my new favorite place. The soups are delicious, the sandwiches also, and such great value. The shop itself has the air of the olde soda fountains, which by the way, are also delicious. Perfectly made soda just for you. I had the Shirley Temple and it was perfect, not too sweet, just right. Served by the owner a lovely fellow who couldn't be more helpful. Then, after enjoying a great lunch I get to choose candies and chocolates and fill everyones stockings this Christmas.
I LOVE DAISYS!!!
If you haven't treated yourself to this little slice of heaven in Twin Falls, why???
Such lucky folks in Twin Falls to have such a special place.
I love spending my dollars on local shops an not the grossness of chain foodstuffs holes. So Daisys fits the bill for me. I am thinking of moving to Twin Falls just so I can visit more often.
Great food, great people, great...
Read moreMy kiddo was given a certificate to Daisy's for an accomplishment at school, which we thought was a great way for us to celebrate and it definitely motivated her. It was exaaaactly what I expected when we visited for the first time this weekend. Clean and pleasant. The selection is a little overwhelming, and there is a bit of visual overload not knowing exactly where to look first. This experience didn't appeal to me as something I'd crave, but I can definitely see how Daisy's is a local gem and the nostalgia factor surely factors in. No complaints, it's just not my scene, but I'd happily take my family back for...
