I moved to the area 7 years ago and while I had heard of this place never stopped by. I finally did after visiting a friend that lived down Addison. The area inside certainly was plenty large enough to accommodate a significant number of folks. The menu was full of many options. I opted for the double cheeseburger and fries along with their home made lemonade. That burger really surprised me. I've had 5 Guys and Smasburger, In N Out you name it. This burger easily beat the others by a significant margin. Not only was the price reasonable, but the shear flavor of it alone was worth it. My favorite char broiled flavor and plenty juicy not squeezed dry like others do it. I never expected the fries to be anything special, but they were perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside but pillowy and flavorful like REAL potatoes should be and not greasy. The lemonade topped it off nicely. My next time in the area you can bet I'll be stopping by. I'm so rarely there for breakfast as I don't live right in town, but once again if called to be there early I'll be sure to try their breakfast. I have NO doubt it would more then compete with the likes of a Abracadabra or Perkins. Well done folks keep up...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for years and this was the worst experience by far. I came hungry and left with a massive headache. I don’t want to smell chemicals while I eat. The staff will clean the floors right around where you are eating. If I wanted this environment I would go to McDonald’s. The water tastes like your drinking straight bleach, pool water tastes better. I don’t know what happened over the years but this is not the experience I expect from Burger Stop. It’s no wonder this place isn’t busy at 6:30pm, they act like they are closing. Try using a better smelling (less smelling) cleaner if you are going to mop while people eat. Also, loved getting the side eye from the employee because we politely asked them to not mop in front of us while we eat. They were about to mop right in our path to either door, where my mother (who just had her knee replaced) would have to walk. If she had slipped it would have been extremely painful for her and trip...
Read moreAh the old standby, the tried and true of the Magic Valley, a reliable burger joint that has been around for over 50 years; are just a few ways I would describe Burger Stop. Throughout my entire life I have been to this restaurant many times and the food has always been great. My most recent visit is no different. I ordered the double western burger with large onion rings, might I say delicious and well proportioned. My wife ordered the gyro wrap which is actually very flavorful and authentic. The food was great as always, but I also look at the staff, are they friendly, happy, glad to have a job? Well the gentleman I dealt with paying the bill for a to go order was all the above, he told me his day was going great, even having to work on a sunday, and he had a smile and was friendly and prompt. The experience I had tonight was great! I'll definitely be back and I definitely...
