So very heartbreaking. This was one of our favorite places to get breakfast, gosh for over 10 years now. I truly understand how busy you guys get and that is one of the reasons we call our breakfast in to go, and we even give an extra 10 minutes from the time that you state that it will be ready, just to ensure to give you extra time because we understand the busy-ness...but today I had never encountered such horrible customer service as I did, unfortunately :-( I waited at the counter for 5 minutes while the help continuously walked past me, 3 of them did make eye contact with me, but never said "Hello" or "I will be with you in a moment"...it was like I was invisible. A very uncomfortable feeling. The last thing that happened was 2 people came in after me and were greeted right away. I had to leave after that, even though I saw my food sitting for me to be picked up, and have been salivating for it for the past 35 minutes from calling it in...but after 5 minutes of being ignored I couldn't put up with that any more...so I left. I felt horrible, I called to let them know just because that is the responsible thing to do, I let the lady who answered know what had happened and I was even the one who apologized for leaving, which I shouldn't have...she didn't even apologize and just stated "oh we are so busy." It's heartbreaking to me, what customer service can do to a business. I probably will never find a Sun Valley omelette anywhere else but the place we chose after; which we had never eaten at before was simply amazing in re-creating it and providing us with excellent customer service. I will miss Norms food but not that horrible ignoring feeling that I got. Simply...

After reading Jay Holstine's review on Norm's cafe I felt compelled to try all the items jay had mentioned. This review is mostly a review based on Jay's review. As noted with the 4 stars Jay's review was quite good though I believe he over emphasized the greatness of the chicken and noodles. They were good though they did seem to be lacking the chicken part. There were some bits of chicken but not a sufficient amount to the way Jay Mentioned. It is possible that because I had ordered the chicken and noodles as a side that maybe they felt I didn't rate the proper amount of chicken but I truly don't believe they would have the time for that shenanigans with that excellent and speedy service and palpable politeness. The noodles however; I found to be quite abundant and delightful. Jay had said " If you're craving a hamburger try the jack burger with a milkshake still done the old fashioned way" and I thought to myself wow I just happen to be craving a hamburger so that's just what I ordered. The burger was good as well as the milkshake though the diameter of the straw was quite minimal it still got the job done. Other than that everything was very good. the staff deserves 5 stars due to their courteousness and thoughtfulness and helpfulness and niceness and they were very spectacular. But jay you only get 4 stars for that slightly...

So a friend had suggested we come here for breakfast. I had never been here so I decided to give it a shot. Upon entering it was quite busy. We got sat right away. I wasn't quite craving breakfast so I decided on a cheese burger with a side of chili cheese fries. Upon being served the presentation was great. But to my disappointment the fries were terrible. The chili had zero to no flavor and there was hardly any cheese on them. I had to add fry sauce to give it some type of flavor. The burger was ok, it had some flavoring nothing special. I placed an order for my husband to go. Which as a double cheese burger and french fries. He is a potato french fry fanatic. I thought well, maybe he can give the burger and fries a shot and I'll wait and see what he says. To no surprise he said the same thing. Fries were horrible the burger was ok. I had also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy to go. The biscuits were dryer than a dead mummy in a casket. The gravy had little to no flavor also. Black bear dinner has better biscuits and gravy in my opinion. Although the food wasn't great, the service was friendly. Will I come back? Probably not. It was a learning...

We found this Cafe by accident. Our car broke down in Twin Falls and we were towed to the nearby Addison Care Care. So, while we were waiting for car repairs, the owner of Addison recommended Norm's Cafe a few blocks away. All seven of our family walked to the Cafe and found the most friendly competent servers as soon as we walked into the establishment. The menu has many selections. We tried the house special meat loaf and their chicken fried steak - the rest of our family had the burger and other items. All of it was excellent at a very reasonable price. What a fun dining pleasure it all become for us so it did't make getting broken down in Twin so bad. We spoke to a few locals who all frequent the Cafe. They told us their breakfast and homemade pies are really good. .

Great place, with great food. Very old fashioned. Classic American food. Breakfast was great. The atmosphere reminded me of when I was a kid in So. Cal. My grandfather used to take me to a place called The Pantry, in Downtown L.A. We used to wait in line, outside, for an hour at times. Takes me back to when times were simple. Reminded me of sitting with my grandparents. That alone was worth the trip. The service was great, the cooks were funny & friendly, and the food was amazing. I have my favorite places to eat, and Norms will continue to get my business. Good local spot to eat whenever you're in Twin Falls.

This place is great! Imagine grandma's home cooking on a Sunday... Imagine down-home country goodness on a plate... This is it! I was especially impressed with how much of the menu is HOME-MADE. Chicken fried steak was breaded and fried with some stringy bits that were reminiscent of handmade breakfast. My wife had the chicken soup. Broth was thick, flavorful, and ful of vegetables. My kids had the spaghetti. The sauce was that wonderful tangy off-color that comes from using real (not canned) tomatoes. If you ever make it to Twin Falls HIT THIS PLACE UP!!!
