Greedy. The disparity between the ever-climbing prices and the amount and quality of food you get in this chain is no longer worth it. On a busy day out, I got my family’s food elsewhere but decided to treat myself a chicken strip meal for the first time in a very long time. It costs us close to $60 to eat there otherwise. We used to enjoy taking our children to eat at Chick Fil A; if there was one on a road trip, that’s where we would stop. If there was one shopping, that’s where we ate. Sometimes the chicken strips at Chick Fil A are barely larger than a nugget… you never know what you will get in the box. Lemonade is now a .33 upcharge in a combo meal. On my last visit to the Lindale location, the waffle fries in my $10 meal were loosely filled in so that there were huge air pockets in the fry box. When I took off the top fry, I was dismayed at how few fries I had been given. When I fit the fries in as shown in the photo (none had been eaten yet,) it was clear the box wasn’t even remotely full. I had maybe 6-7 fries in a medium I paid over $2 for. A man would have finished very hungry. We have been dealing with them squirreling away the ketchups and sauces behind the counter and making us wait and ask for more (and some locations like in Arlington even charge for more than 2 and that includes ketchup for your fries!) for a while. They also senselessly closed the playgrounds for over 2 years my children would go and beg to play on. I really may be done with Chick Fil A. I would rather feed my family quality food at home and pack lunches for on the go— and every now and then spring for a decent table service restaurant— than frequent a fast food restaurant trying to clean our pockets. At least Chick Fil A had helped me re-evaluate my priorities....
Read moreI tried to fill out the survey but I’m not sure if it submitted and I had such a wonderful experience today, I wanted to make sure this location & staff got the recognition they deserve! I had a last minute catering order. A client of mine in Athens was desperate for Chick-Fil-A and I had to figure out a way to happen within a 2 hour time frame. Bonnie answered my call & was so wonderful to me. I was stressing out and she made me feel a million times better with her kindness and reassurance that they’d be able to help me, even on such a short notice. She even went as far as to remind me of the finer details, such as plates and cups, which I would’ve forgotten had it not been for her! When I arrived, everything was ready and I got to meet Bonnie in person, as well as Simone, who was just as amazing! Simone helped me carry everything out to my car, made small talk with me, and went the extra mile by showing me everything in my bags so I’d know everything was there & where it was! I also noticed “regulars” in the restaurant and realized this wasn’t a regular franchise. It’s a place where “everybody knows everybody”, which is so refreshing as a newbie to town. My clients enjoyed the food so much that they told me I was now their favorite rep for making it happen and I’m almost positive I secured more of their business just because of y’all. I know this may be silly to say, but Chick Fil A is a special place. Customer service is always top notch and this particular location & staff exemplifies that. I’m so glad I chose this location today and I can’t wait to cater with y’all again! I promise next time it won’t be...
Read moreWhoever came up with taking up a whole drive thru lane for mobile orders, should never be allowed to make another business decision. What an absolute train wreck of an operation. We pulled into it not knowing, saw the sign at the last second but by then we were already blocked in. We then went into panic mode trying to download the app, order and add a payment method. We had plenty of time tho because two cars in front of us and three cars behind us did the same thing. There were people getting out of their cars to walk back and scan the QR code to tell them they're in line. Meanwhile there's people that knew it was a mobile line, ordered before they got there and checked in at the back of the line. So they got their food delivered to the back of the line but had to sit there for 15 minutes while the circus in front of them tried to figure out how to mobile order. Whole time we got to just watch the drive thru line run flawlessly....... like both lines are supposed to do. What would it hurt to just put QR codes on both lines and if you mobile order, go to any lane? Why shut down an entire lane that people continuously get in not knowing it's a mobile line? What a...
