I have been here several times before but I always did take out. But today I decided to sit and have lunch just to pass time, that was the biggest mistake I made today. The staff was rude had my food all over the place on my plate. The drink I had was awful. And the most biggest disappointment was that when I went to the bathroom and came back out to return to my table where I left the rest of my unfinished lunch on the table where I had already thrown away what I didn't want to take with me, in other words I had leftover I wanted to take with me that I did not get to finish up eating, the staff threw away my drink and my lunch. That's the most disrespect I have ever seen . As small as this place is I know that currently someone saw me go into the bathroom and knew I had not exit from the building. Never will I return again. I am a fair person and I definitely know what is right and what is wrong. Being a business owner you are supposed to treat your customers with respect. You cannot pick or choose who you want to treat disrespectfully unless they are being disrespectful to you and or your place of business. Very...
Read moreI know this isn’t a secret to anyone in East Texas, but I realized I’ve never done a review for one of my favorite spots to get some amazing Chinese food in Tyler.
The place I’m referring to is Chinastar Express & Grill on the corner of the loop and 31 west.
IFYKYK and if you don’t, I’m bout to learn you something lol.
The food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. $10.59 for a 2 item combo plate is insane!!! Especially when you realize how much food is included. The plates pictured below are all 2 item combos. They also have some really good eggrolls.
My favorite is the chicken and shrimp with the peppers in it. It’s not spicy at all and the flavor is out of this world. Their lo-mein is easily some of my favorite.
Go see...
Read moreWas passing through after visiting a friend in town and had a hankering for noodles. I searched Singpore Mei Fun because U like to try the local takes on it whenever I have the opportunity. I like meat, so I got the mixed meat and, while the overall flavor was good, the texture of the beef kind of damped the enjoyment. I should have gotten the shrimp by itself, as it's my favorite part normally, and I'm used to places using pork in the mixed meat instead of beef. The beef was closer to what you would normally expect in beef & broccoli, a little too chewy to compliment the other textures in the dish (shoutout to my other ppl on the spectrum who deal with texture issues ✊️) Anyway, try the shrimp version of this, I'm sire that's the best...
