Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Tyler

The reviews below this one are from previous experiences, but this review is from today... I frequent Popeyes and I've made a few reviews but I had to sit out here in the parking lot and give a review today. I'm at the Tyler location and first I want to say that the food is typical Popeyes, it's good. This location is usually pretty clean and it's always good and they've always done a pretty good job at customer service but today was probably my best Popeyes experience ever. It was probably my best fast food experience ever. I left out of that store feeling great about life in about Humanity, the whole nine yards. The Kilgore crew, GM Willie Woods, employee Matt Freeman and employee Corey Huff we're probably some of the most nice people I have ever met with excellent customer service. Willie Woods was running that place like a true champ. They were busy and he was all over the place. Matt Freeman was the guy ringing me up and he had to be the most polite and humble young man I have ever encountered. His parents should be super proud that they raised an awesome young man. Same goes for Corey Huff, super customer service skills and a great attitude. They were all smiles and doing their job perfectly. If I own a fast food chain or anything for that matter I would definitely want this crew to run my place. Popeyes you made an excellent decision hiring these guys. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!

I love their chicken, especially the tenders. They are a bit small sometimes but this post is more about the staff that was there yesterday when i visited. The manager Efrain was really helpful, courteous and professional. The hispanic lady that was working with him was also very helpful and kind. You guys are both excellent at your job. I appreciate you and so should Popeyes!!! UPDATE I was in this locations drive-thru tonight and like always the food was fresh, hot and staff was super friendly. Went through the drive through about 330 today and ordered a #1 spicy combo with red beans and rice before we could even order for the second person we were cut off and told to pull to the window and our total. We let the person know we had a couple more items to order she took the other items and said pull forward I’ll give you the total at the window. We pull to the window they hand us the food and a single drink and they took our card for payment. When she come back to the window we let her know we were missing a drink she politely said you sure are and grabbed it and sent us on our way. I opened the rice and beans that come with the combo and there was barely anything in it. Way more rice than beans. My spouse opened his large red beans and rice and there was half a container of rice and beans. This was supposed to be a large and we did not get that. We get home to find the chicken sandwich was not even what we ordered it was just a classic sandwich. When you are taking someone’s food order please take your time to hear what they are ordering instead of rushing the only car in your line through. When you are making the food please give them what they are paying for and not a large container with only half of it filled. That was the only thing he ordered to eat. Please make the food how you would want your food and not just rush it out the window. We are paying...

Not sure as to WHY ITS SHOWING UP IN TYLER, Tx- as that’s where I’m from -HOWEVER THIS WAS IN BLOOMINGTON, ILLNOIS ( Im unsure as to were but will update shortly )

Veryyyyy rude and offensive and sadly they made ALOT OF VULGAR REFERENCES TO RACE, in a demeaning manner and the flipped it AS if I was the problem because I simply asked for my receipt. , in which I was DENIED- smh but the ghetto part was the guy asked for my device (phone) to take a picture of it.

I sat in the drive thru and waited 3mins literally before I pulled to the window, and unfortunately that’s when the shenanigans and rudeness ontop of UNPROFESSIONALISM STARTED!!!!!! The lady with no front teeth came to the window IRATE, hollering about how busy they were( I was the ONLY CAR IN THE DRIVE THRU-PERIOD!!!!!) and told me, that I neeeded to wait due to them being busy, CLOSED THE WINDOW ON ME AND THEN WENT AND STOOD BY A COUNTER,- GAZING AT ME-🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🙄🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ Do not waste your time nor money with these ARGUMENTIVE GHETTO PEOPLE AT THIS LOCATION!!!!

Sadly … they brought up race for some ODD REASON-,🙄 I’m African American-….. the weirdness is SO WERE THEY-🙄🤦🏾‍♀️😭🤷🏽‍♀️😐🤨 they must have underlined drug issues is all that I can think of-🙏🏾
