Whataburger — Restaurant in Tyler

I Stopped by the loop 323 location tonight (Thursday 3/10/22) at 9:50pm to find that the lobby was locked, (both side & front doors) The sign on the doors said that the lobby closes at 11pm, so I called inside. By the time the manager came to the phone, it was 9:55pm. She said her name was Breanna, but I suspect that it wasn’t, based on her tone and inflection. When I asked what time they normally close the lobby, she mumbled 10pm. When I told her that I was outside, and that both the side & front doors were locked, she said, “yeaaaah.” When I told her that I was at the doors at 9:50 and they were [already] locked, & that it was currently 9:55, she didn’t respond. So, I asked directly, why they had closed the lobby before 10pm? She said, “ah, because we can.” with what was likely the worst attitude she could sort. I said, “okay. Thank you Breanna.” I was able to see inside and counted 6 employees working, which seems like it would have been more than enough to keep the lobby open for business. Lastly; had she given me ANY reason for closing early, I wouldn’t be taking the time to write. I’d be eating. Guess they’re doing so well that they don’t need my business. …and yes, the drive through was open, but I’ve been told that it’s inappropriate to...

This was a nice store. I went for a cause supporting the local police for a fund raising event. The three times I. My life that I've been to Whataburger, I really didn't just enjoy the food. This was no different. I got a mushroom swiss burger. I ate half there, took the rest home. Had another bite the next day and the rest went to the dog. I'm not saying it was bad, just got my taste. I spent over 17.00 for two burgers with a med. Shake. When the event coordinator came to my table with a bucket to solicit addition funds. I said no. She said we accept credit cards, sorry answer still no. Whataburger was to donate 50% of proceeds to the event. I thin 9.00 was more then enough. Just don't like the food. It tastes like it was cooked yesterday and microwave just before serving. I had the number, 44, clearly visible from my table but still had to chase down the guy trying to find me. That was after he was right near my table and I overheard the number, the got up and chased him down. The seating area was really decked out with all kinds of neat stuff. Kinda made me wonder, the owner of this place has money, he must be a nice person to donate half of sales to something. But was it have the sales? Or half the profit after paying...

The cashier took my order wrong. The food arrived cold, once I nicely asked for my food to be made corrtly I was handed my original burger back. They only added cheese and not the bacon like I had ordered it. When I told the cashier she gave me attitude and wanted to charge me for the bacon and cheese that I had originally ordered. When I asked for the manager I got more unwanted attitude. The manager did nothing about it. I had to point out to the manager that the food is considered contaminated once it touches the table. I was not looking for a free meal, I work hard and can afford to pay for my meals but it still not okay to be treated in a demeaning way, specially when you are paying for a service. All I wanted was to have a nice meal with my children after a long day at work and not deal with unprofessionals who don't care...
