I have never in life been to a restaurant with the service we received this night and I eat out daily but this was definitely the WORSE and the server that was working needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY for her attitude towards everyone waiting to be seated. I came with my parents who are 70+ and my son, we just left a delayed graduation and decided to stop here to eat BIG MISTAKE. We were patient in waiting because we did notice they may have been short handed but it was not the fault of the customers so the hostess ELIZABETH came to hostess station to let everyone waiting know it would be a 40 minute wait which me and my party was there over 40 minutes at this point then she goes on to tell us that all was Available was pancakes and eggs and to blame the graduation which I didnāt understand as seeing the restaurant wasnāt packed so Iām not sure what the graduation had to do with the supply of food. Elizabeth then says if you donāt want that GO SOMEWHERE ELSE which we took very personal seeing as though the only customers waiting was AFRICAN AMERICAN people so it seems as though she had a problem with serving us. I then asked to speak with a manager think his name was ERIC I could be wrong and he let me know they are short staffed but they definitely didnāt just have eggs and pancakes so not sure why she would tell us that information so after knowing we were LIED to we decided to not eat at this establishment especially now itās been over a HOUR wait and the hostess was rude disrespectful and seemed RACIST we went else where. The manager is how I retried her name because she would not give it which I still donāt know if thatās the correct name but this incident was MAY17,2025 around 1130PM and I have a few witness names and number of the encounter who also asked for corporate information because this was THE WORSE SERVICE EVER only gave a 1 star because I had too in order to leave review itās definitely a NEGATIVE on service and the hostess I DO NOT RECOMMEND IHOP ON LOOP...

My husband went to pick up the food and he went inside and gave his name and they said you know itāll be out in a minute. An hour later, I told him to literally ask them where the hell the food was, and at that point they announced for everybody that was picking up online food orders (Approximately TWENTY PEOPLE) that they might as well just get a refund online because they hadnāt cooked any of their orders. So my husband and TWENTY other people sat there waiting for minimum an hour, and the staff never once said weāre not gonna be able to do your orders they just let them sit there with no information, including when people inquired about it. This is extremely unprofessional, but not surprising for Tyler because Tyler is just , stinking rude. Look, itās food service, not rocket science. If you canāt fill the order, tell the people right away so that they can go on about their business and not sit in your restaurant wasting their time for an hour. I definitely wonāt be utilizing this IHOP ever again, Horrible customer service! P.S. They have essentially stolen the money of these TWENTY people as there is no way to request a refund on their website when youāve ordered online for pick up.
