well, I went to this place at 11:16pm on July 12th, 2017. a worker named Porsha was working there. as soon as I stepped up to the counter, I had to wait about 2 minutes before someone acknowledged me being there. finally one of the workers said, "Someone will be right with you." I waited another 2 or 3 minutes and Porsha looked over at me, with the biggest attitude in the world and said, "Have you been helped yet?" I told her no not yet. she reluctantly walked over to the counter and said "what do you want." I told her and she told me the price, I stuck my card out, she snatched it from me and swiped it. handed me a receipt, and grabbed a cup from behind the counter. she didn't make an effort to move the cup close to me, she just had the cup out. In order to grab the cup, I had to reach over the counter and as soon as I did, she rolled her eyes,, held her breath, muttered something and so I asked her what the problem was and she told me I snatched the cup from her and that I had an attitude! I told her she was the one with the attitude and she said "blah blah blah" and stuck her hand out, to shush me. she continued talking and muttering stuff, blabbing out loud with no regard to her surroundings, and I told her I would call her manager on her and she said she didn't care and then really obnoxiously said "Bye." repeatedly like 5 or 6 times. I told her that's not how you treat a customer and she said she didn't care and that she wasn't "scared of me". anytime I talked she tried to shush me. she even almost told me to shut up and I asked her if that's what she was about to say and she told me I could leave the store now. I told her not withput my food or a refund. she said again with tons of attitude she would be "MORE than happy" to give me a refund and she demanded I give my credit card to her again. I wasn't about to give my card to her, so she gave me the cash value for it and literally threw the damn money on the counter, slammed it there. I still had the cup in my hand and she snatched that from me and said bye again. I shook my head and walked out the door and as I was leaving she was saying "OH MY GOD" laughing and rolling her eyes. worst food experience of my life. I tried to call the corporate number and they simply say go to the website. I feel uncomfortable living in...
Read moreWow, I ordered ahead through the app after working a 14 hr shift, and when I pulled in to the drive thru the person operating the didn't say anything for almost 5 minutes, didn't say "I'll be with you in a minute" just silence, people are pulling up behind me, and there's no way to get out of the drive thru line at this point. I say "Hello!" someone finally almost whispers "I will be with you in a moment." when she comes back a few minutes later I tell her that I ordered on the app, and she just kinda trails off and leaves me in silence for another few minutes. I again am wondering if maybe I am not hearing her talking or maybe there's some sort of technical issue so I kill my engine and say, "I am sorry, I didn't hear you." I was again left in a awkward silence for a long period of time, she finally comes back and asks me if she can help me, I explain for the second time that I have a online order, she asks me to pull forward, I ask her if she could please make that drink with no ice and she says something I am not sure, I pull to the window and try to tell her that I couldn't hear her and she shuts the window in my face midsentence, she comes back with my order and hands me my drink, I can hear the ice sloshing in the cup as she hands it to me, I asked if I could have that with no ice before it is in my hands completely, she tells me that the order didn't say anything about no ice and it was already made so there's nothing she can do. I try to explain to her that there's no option on the app for no ice and while I am talking, she tells me "Thank you" and shuts the window. I felt like a ghost or a child who was interrupting the grown-ups trying to talk about something important instead of a customer paying money for a product. I don't think that I will ever come back, last time I went my kids asked for the good good sauce to go with their tiny tacos and the lady at the window told me that she didn't know where that was sorry. Like she couldn't be arsed to ask her coworker where the sauce was. This place is going...
Read moreI went to Jack in the box after work with my girlfriend to treat both of us after a long day. We had a simple order in mind as we both enjoy getting to share, but also eating our favorite foods from what used to be our favorite spot. I ask for a #7 combo with large curly fries, and a Dr. Pepper to share since my girlfriend orders loaded tiny tacos, and curly fries. We were asked to pull around and wait in space 1 for our food. It arrived and we received the #7, large curly fry, large Dr. Pepper, and loaded tiny tacos. Although upon further inspection of our receipt, we noticed we were charged for a large coke, and not a second large curly fry. We go back to sort out the miscommunication and when we get back to the window, the woman at the register proceeds to tell us we shouldn't have asked for a large coke if we wanted a large fry. The least she could have done is understood we didn't even receive the second fry we actually asked for, and didn't receive the drink we were charged for. Instead we were just told that we were wrong and charged separately for a large fry... I'm still waiting for the refund on my card for the drink we never asked for but told we were. I don't understand the disrespect my girlfriend received for trying to clear up a simple misunderstanding. Unacceptably rude for food service, and ruined my hope for any decent fast food everywhere. Thank you Jack in the box. The food was cold after we got home since we had to wait while we were being told what we ordered instead of just getting we asked for...
