You can say a lot of things about Tyler, but you definitely can’t say we’re lacking in food options. I feel like a new restaurant or food truck pops up every week and honestly, I’m here for it. Today, I had the absolute privilege of trying SKY BAR & GRILL They just opened a few days ago, but they’re already out here running things like seasoned pros. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also just as good. Apparently, I picked the perfect day to show up. They had half off wings plus an additional 25% off the entire order. I basically walked out of there with a feast for under $20. It felt like I was robbing them. Now, let’s talk food. I couldn’t decide what to get, so I took the only logical route and ordered a little bit of everything. I ordered the 10 piece wings (half lemon pepper, half buffalo), the Vietnamese sandwich (Banh Mi), and some fried egg rolls. Starting with the wings or as I’d like to call them, BBW’s (Big Beautiful Wings). They were lightly breaded, fried to crispy perfection, and packed with flavor. Both sauces hit the spot, and I really appreciated that the buffalo had just enough kick without trying to ruin my day. My only small gripe was the ranch not being homemade. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not that elite level ranch (shoutout Wingstop and Slim Chickens). Next up was the Banh Mi, which I got without jalapeños because I like to enjoy my food, not fight with it. The waitress said it was her favorite thing on the menu, and after one bite, I totally understood why. The grilled pork was super tender, and when paired with those fresh veggies and house made bread, it made for an excellent sandwich. Finally, the egg rolls. I inhaled them. I don’t even remember chewing. Whatever sauce they came with was fire too. I don’t know what it was, but I’m not questioning it. Some things are better left a mystery. There were a few things marked out on the menu, probably just because they’re so new. But honestly, that just gives me an excuse to go back sooner. Which I will. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in Tyler. Come hungry. Leave happy.

As far as the food go it was Supreme tasty and wonderful, Hats off to the chef and the cooks, I had the Spring roll with pork. I ate it before I could take a picture of it lol , but anyway, I also had the calamari and Mussel. Just between the two of us that was plenty. This place is a fantastic spot in Tyler! The atmosphere is great and the customer service is even better. The food is delicious and they even offer a military discount. The prices are good, especially during happy hour. Highly recommend for a casual meal or drinks with friends and family. They were very accommodating to my peanut allergies.

Response to the owner: you weren't even there so you only heard what he told you. I sent the meal back after eating one shrimp and one of the mussels. You have cameras there and you can see that my bowl was untouched. Yes i did say that i will pay but if you are in the restaurant business and the plate is untouched you don't make your customers pay. Plus ask your server. She told me that the seafood pho comes with a lot of seafood. What i got was a joke. And please stop calling me a liar because with this mentality you will be closed within months. Seeing all the 5 stars reviews I was excited to try this place. What a disappointment. I went with my son. He got the wings which were good. I asked for the seafood pho. The waitress told me that it comes with a lot of seafood. On the menu it was described that it came with shrimp, calamari, crab, scallops and mussels. When the food arrived my pho had 2 shrimp, 2 small uncooked scallops, and 3 mussels. That's it. After I told the waitress that the kitchen manager came to our table and started saying that he wants to change the crab because was imitation crab. He said he will tell the waitress to take it off the bill. I told him that I didn't come for free food. He said ok and left. I ate 1 shrimp and one of the mussels. I told the waitress that to take the pho away because it wasn't good. She brought the bill and what do you know, they did charge me for my uneaten pho. I am sorry but if something doesn't come right from the kitchen, you don't make excuses. You make it right. Very disappointed to...

I walked in to a welcoming atmosphere, though busy prepping, they still took time out of their day to have a genuine conversation. After my order was served(had Bahn mi and side of broth), I took one bite and was overwhelmed with serious flavor in both the sandwich and the pho broth. When a chef is passionate about their cooking you can taste it in the food. The chefs here have definitely put forth their heart into the meal. This was first experience and I am seriously blown away by not only the kind and humble nature of everyone I spoke to, but the food which actually resonated with my soul. Please give these people your business so they stay around for years to come. Its worth it. also the bahn mi is bigger than a normal bahn mi....
