The mild honey butter chicken sandwich was delicious. I would order it again. The no heat three wings were average. They were also not big. I was expecting big wings for $8-9 ($3 per wing!), but they were kinda normal sized. The wings come with a slice of toast and slices of pickles. The fries were a disappointment. Large portion, but they weren't crispy and seemed dry. It reminded me of microwaved French fries. I actually preferred throwing them away over eating them. I didn't try the sauce, but my mom said the rooster sauce and the sriracha sauce both looked and tasted the same. Service was fine. I ordered online. They said it'd be ready at 4:00. I arrived at 4:08 and they handed it to me. I was in and out in 1 minute. As many have mentioned, this place is expensive. For one sandwich, three wings, and fries, it cost over $25. It's near the route 7 Walmart, so getting to the location is not convenient. I might go back to get the honey butter chicken again, if I go out to shop at Walmart. I don't think I'd go on a trip solely to get from...
Read moreI ordered the medium Buffalo chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the Honey Butter chicken sandwich and we both got fries and it was alright. I wasn't sure if they used chicken thighs or chicken breasts, but it looked like 3 tenders stacked on top of each other with blue cheese and bread. I will compare this to Wooboi as that is my favorite hot chicken place and for starters, I think paying almost 10 dollars for just 3 chicken slices and bread is a little pricey and wish they could also include coleslaw to give it more flavor. The sandwhich was kind of messy as I also had a lot of blue cheese and it was dripping everywhere and got the bread all soggy. The chicken wasn't as crunchy and juicy as I would have liked. The fries were good, but I think the Sriracha Mayo they offered on the side could've had more flavor as well. Overall it was a decent place, but to me, I can't justify paying 32 dollars for two sandwhiches and two fries if it doesn't give me a wow factor like...
Read moreCame here during a hospital trip for my mom after driving 6-ish hours from NC and it was probably the highlight of those few days (that isn't saying much but it really was quite good).
The chicken nuggets don't come in any less-spicy variation than Mild, which was still lip-tingling. The meat is so insanely juicy and tender you'd think it was slow-cooked. The fries come in Five Guys-like abundance, but are much higher quality, being very crispy and dark (I think they were listed as twice-fried so that might explain it). The OREO shake was highly respectable and helped pass the time waiting for the real food, but if I ever end up here again I'll get a proper drink as well.
The place is located in a rather charming little shopping center, and open very late. I'm lucky to have found it so close to the hotel.
Drawbacks - took 20ish minutes to get my food, and a shake-fries-nuggets combo was as many dollars. Don't come here like...
