Restaurant: Miss Saigon 920 N. State St Ukiah CA 95482
Main Question: Is the food worth the price?
Answer: it was delicious. In california, yes this is worth $109. We ordered quite a bit of food.
Wait Time: None today.
Food: Just take a look at how much food that you receive from the images.
The Pho was absolutely delicious. The Sashimi was spot on and tasted very fresh. I was able to try some fish that I had not tried before. The sizes of the Sashimi were enormous.
The sushi rolls were more on the Bland side. I ordered a California roll and a 49ers. I was not really impressed with either of them. However the texture of them held out well. They were very well made. It was the taste or lack thereof for which I had an issue.
Atmosphere: I liked the atmosphere.
Cleanliness: The plates were cleaned. The silverware was clean. The glasses were clean. The bathroom needs some help. The toilet was dirty and we were the only ones here, the bathroom needed to be cleaned. The sink had dirty hands all over it. I almost didn't want to wash my hands in it.
Service: Crystal was fantastic. She was the first server in a decade to ask if we wanted the ginger and wasabi, which we never eat and always forget to tell the server not to bring it.
Price: This meal was $109.87 before tip
Recommended: if you are traveling down 101 north in California or 101 South in California and you're near the North State Street exit which I believe is 554 the stop into to Miss Saigon. They've been in business since 2019 at...
Read moreWent here earlier today with my wife and sister-in-law for a late lunch (after 2pm). Food: -appetizers were significantly overpriced for what you got. For example, an order of the Potstickers was $12 for a handful of mini-sized Potstickers (the exact same ones you can buy at Costco!) -we also got an order of egg rolls, which was 3 egg rolls cut in half that was $10. -Entrees were better in terms of quality, but still higher priced than what I would usually paid for at other restaurants. An order of chicken chow mein is $18! Normally I'd expect this is be anywhere from $12 to $15 at the most. -I also got two rolls of sushi. One called "Deep Fried Phily Roll" ($14) and one called "Dynamite Roll" ($16). Dynamitr Roll in small, only 6 very small pieces.. Prices are typical, but the quality was just okay. Nothing special and wouldn't seek it out again.
Drinks: -Typical pricing and quality for a restaurant. Nothing stands out.
Service: -Here's where the restaurant really is lacking. Waitress clearly didn't give a hoot about her work, which is fine, I don't need someone with a fake and overly bubbly attitude. But don't just leave us halfway through our meal! Didn't get napkins or plates with our appetizers, which were messy. And had to wait a long time to flag someone else down when we wanted to pay and leave.
Overall, would not recommend this resturant. I know there isn't much up here in Ukiah in comparison to Sonoma County, but can't we get quality restaurants? I know of at least a couple of really good restaurants in Ukiah that I would recommend over this establishment. I hope this restaurant turns around and...
Read moreThis was my first time to go there upon several people sugguestions from a local grocery. When you walk in you notice the wait staff corner with a plexiglass shield with a drink menu. I was seated myself after waiting for a staff member to inform me. There were several large groups, some inside and some outside. I was given 2 menus which took several minutes to look over. I quickly noticed that the prices were high. Because of the price, I didn't look to see what and how much you received at those prices. I ordered Miso soup, delicious, and a California Roll with real crab and avocado. The food was good. I got an iced tea for a drink. When the bill came, I noticed that the iced tea was $4.00. I began wondering why when I first entered the restaurant that drink sign I mentioned said $2.75. The waitress was busy so I went over to the staff station where you pay and asked about the price difference. I was told that the posted drink menu was because of during Covid19 they lowered the price. Great. But you should take the sign down if you were no longer charging the price. I was informed that she was just back to work after being off for months because of brain surgery. What can you say to that. The restaurant was busy because so many people were leaving after lunch. I believe that by law you have to charge the price mark whether it is no longer valid. I give the food a 5 rating, look at my empty plate and the...
