Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Union Township

We visited this location for the first time today. I personally had never eaten at a Freddys but my boyfriend had in Milford. We walked in, looked around and noticed a long arm waving at the register, inviting us to step on up! The employee waving at us had a fantastic smile, striking mohawk haircut and very nice eyes. As we looked over the menu, made our choices and ordered, he asked if we had eaten there before (obvious "tourists" lol). We told him about this being my first time and he insisted I try the custard. As we were filling our drinks at the drink station, he came up to us with a complimentary cup of frozen custard & two spoons, stating we just have to experience the custard. I had never eaten frozen custard and had imagined it was similar to frozen yogurt. It is nothing like frozen yogurt and better, smoother and creamier than ice cream! As we enjoyed our meal, he made his way over to our table, checking the satisfaction of all the customers. He asked how our meal was and what we thought of the custard. We told him how delicious it all was and asked his name so we may include it in our review that we agreed needed to be shared since the whole experience was over the top from what we have experienced in "fast food" restaurants. His name is Doug and we were so engaged in his conversation that we didn't realize he had taken away our tray that our meals were served on. My boyfriend commented on how, even the server who handed him our meals politely told him to have a great day! And to top it all off, another server came by and asked if she could take away any empty "disposable" dishes!

This is definitely what fast food restaurants should hold their standards to!! We loved it!! Will definitely seek out Freddy's locations when we take a break and sit down at a fast food establishment. Thank you for...

Atmosphere, 🤔 🧐 ¿¿?? No sanitation offered to/for customers to clean greasy tables! Yuck. Ok, tray. Hmmm 🤔 ? Tray Too big for the table could have used a smaller individual size and have room on the table. (So you don't have to put food on the table just leave it on the tray). Had to set the tray on an empty table or floor. Yuck

So messy, tables not a single one clean. No trash just not wiped. Yes busy day I get it. ? A bucket/rag or spray bottle/paper towels would have been enough in your DIY (do it yourself) atmosphere. The floor under tables in the dining room had food on the floor, this is a slip and fall hazard. We had our 92 yr old Granny with us and other guests had small children running around. Made us nervous for them.

? I would have swept up my table if a broom and pan were available. Again DIY ? Bus station for customers use. ?Better trash recetical with designated area for Basket and tray the Area was a mess we had to touch other people's baskets to slide the tray under. Yuck

Bathroom door "filth" build up. Yuck. The paper towel dispenser is too short, needed 3. Broken toilet paper holder. Bath room not trashed. But No deep cleaning in a while.

The entire experience was overshadowed by quality and preparation issues. There were so many things wrong with our first order:

The fries were ice cold even though we arrived for order pickup before it was ready (~5 minute drive for pickup). All of the items inside the bag were covered with chocolate (possibly from ice cream?). Everything was a sticky mess and there were no napkins included to try to clean it up. The onion rings were overcooked to say the least. Some were completely burnt. This would have been obvious to whoever packed it, as they were burnt and fused together in a giant clump. All of the malt and shake toppings that were added to the order (and that we were charged for) were missing. No straws were provided for either milkshake. All but one of the condiments that were added to the mobile order were missing.

We proceeded with deleting the mobile account that we had just created for our first order. It's definitely not worth the cost or hassle.
