Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Union

Ordered to pick up after church like we regularly do. Ordered 5:55 , they wrote ready at 6:10. Arrived on time. Order was not ready or even started! Only one other customer, who complained he had been waiting 15 minutes. Chose to go next door to Dollar Tree then come back. I browsed and purchased 2 items, and returned to Bubbakkoo. My order still was not ready!! No one apologized. Only two staff members, no other customers in line , just myself and the other customer still. Both getting aggravated. I learned to order earlier, because clearly the estimated time is not right. But, this is not the first time this has happened when order was placed online for pick up and they hadn't even touched it. In fact perhaps the third time. They first look at online orders when I arrive ! Two times were a Saturday night after Church, but one was a Tuesday afternoon at 3 pm. I remember because it was Primary Election Day in June and I was working the polls , expecting to run in and out at 3pm - not a busy time. But my order was still in queue, like today. Please train the staff. I love your food, and pick up sometimes is more convenient. But the same...

I’ve never in years of visiting local restaurants/fast food ever visited a place where they had an employee take a whole booth for one person? That’s what back of the house is for. My daughter, who is two, constantly ran around couldn’t be withheld because the bubbakoo employee wanted to express her profanity throughout the restaurant on her break.

The food was a strong 3, they placed down a container which was supposed to be our wings, and wasn’t- was quesadillas. The checkout process had NO itemized receipt, instead just a signed copy.. so honestly I don’t what I paid for.

I had the chiwawa, chips, my daughter had grilled chicken.. the condiments were most certainly fresh, line was short, and parking up front.

As for the self proclaimed “entrepreneur” employee that wanted to curse nonstop on the phone while taking up a whole both with my daughter around.

Kudos. Go to the one by scotch plains/Clark.. this location...

Nearly everything looked dry - from the lonely chicken tender under the heat lamp, pinto beans and what was left of the ground beef, which looked like the dried corner of cat food that the cat couldn’t reach! And to top it off, they didn’t have more ground beef available for me to get the tacos that I came for. What other taco/burrito place charges extra for queso and peppers/onions as toppings?? $2.79 + tax at that?! I would’ve been better off purchasing it from the supermarket next door. The exceptional food and service at the Clark location was the only reason I’ve been craving Bubbakoo’s, but obviously Union has different prices and quality of food. Pretty depressing trip for a rainy Friday night when you don’t feel like cooking....
