So I was in the area and I drove by this gem of a place. I ended up calling my wife and asking her if she wanted me to pick some subs up for diner. She agreed so let's just start that walking into the place it's bright and very clean. So I approached the counter and started my order. I ended up getting 5 sandwiches.. I got 1 sloppy george with turkey 1 with turkey and roast beef. I also got 1 Italian sub and a muffando from there second board. Not going to lie I ended up eating there because once I saw him slicing the meat per order I knew this place was going to be good. So I ordered a muffando sandwich (sorry if I am spelling it wrong). I asked him to toaste it. So I get my sandwich I sit down and I take my first bit. Let me tell u I latterly felt my taste buds explode. The crunch from the bread was like nothing else. I asked the owner what kinda Bread and he told me it was pizza bread. I was like no wonder it was so crispy and tasty. So I ended up paying and leaving after I ate my sandwich. So now this was at 12pm and at 5 its diner time. So I pass out the kids and wife sandwiches and the smiles on there faces was just priceless. I ended up grabbing my sloppy george and took a bite. Look what is a sloppy Joe it's all about the coleslaw and boy was George's subs coleslaw one of the best I have had on a sloppy Joe it was just perfect. I am Def going to go back there again the drive from clark to union is so worth it. Finally a sub spot that has great meats and slices it infront of you instead of other places that pre...
Read moreI came in for the first time, and unfortunately was ridiculed for asking for extra mayo on my sandwich, I had not realized there was an option to get mayo on both sides because I told the nice girl that took my order first that I would like mayo and she did not ask if I’d like it on both sides, I only realized that was an option when my fiancé was getting his sandwich made, but I didn’t really care about that because I thought it would be no problem to get extra mayo on the top part of the sandwich since she had forgot, only for when my fiancé asked for extra mayo on his sandwich the man finishing the sandwich in a clearly annoyed tone started with “and for future reference if you want more mayo you need to say that in the beginning”. I was extremely disappointed with the clear agitation in his voice and the carelessness for professionalism especially for first time customers who wouldn’t know how you guys prefer to make our sandwich, therefore I left feeling a bit embarrassed for even asking for more mayo and I honestly sit here still the next day wondering what was the big deal with putting extra mayonnaise on the top bun, the sandwich was great but the experience was ruined because nothing feels worse than being made feel you’re...
Read moreGeorge’s Subs is local to us and I’ve heard a lot about them. But tbh, I had forgotten about them as a catering option. My family is always entertaining and we would often order a 6ft sub from another deli in another town. However, when they posted in our local Facebook group about their sub boxes, I thought why not. I’m so glad we did! Their sub boxes are amazing and was a total hit for the double birthday party we recently gave. To give more details, the sub box consist of 6 subs, each cut into 5 sections. Very flavorful sandwiches, healthy portions, cut and nicely served. Put together, they would actually be longer than the 6ft sub we normally get. But if anyone has ever had a sub from George’s, you know how well put together and the size of their subs. It’s been four days since the party as I am typing and so many people (we had approx 100 people) have called me and still talk about the sandwiches. I want to thank George, Gabby, and the rest of their team! Your service is so much appreciated! It’s nice to have such a nice option and to support locally. For sure, they are highly recommended and will always be first on our...
