Where can I even start about Union Public Library I lived in this town all my life still have my first library card I made when I was like five when I heard they are going to tear this library down and It hit me hard it is probably my favorite place to go to in town losing this library feels like I’m honestly losing a part of myself that’s how connected I got to this place I always thought it would always be here the memories I have made in this place I will never forget practically was raised here Just so many changes to my home town so fast that it hurts I could only hold back my tears for so long finding out my library is going to be replaced but it what it is i guess I’m going to miss this place i know to most people would think I’m being ridiculous but this library really meant something to so many people the first time I walked in there I was a child and now I will be leaving this place as a man grateful to have experienced this place all these years all I can is thank you when I look back at my childhood there is no way that I won’t think of this place and the joy it brought me I would give this place 10 stars but unfortunately I can only give it 5 THANK YOU...
Read moreI absolutely loved this library! I enjoy reading and when I went to this library for the first time, I was very happy to! I was quite surprised when I heard that to get a library card had no charge and that you can get it for free. The staff are very nice and it is a very big place with many choices of books. Now, due to covid. I haven't been able to go inside the library, so I can only drive in to collect my books. I mostly read mangas, (Japanese cultural cartoons) so to find a whole section of just mangas was like paradise for me! Though they dont have many mangas, there was still plenty to choose from, and the staff have told me that they will try to get more mangas. Upstairs was the kids section. I went to look and there where also many books for kids. Downstairs is where the adult and young adult books are. On both sections, there are computers for people to use. I have used the computers before quarantine and covid, and using the computers have no cost! I have also used the library for studies since they have many sections and I found several useful history books that...
