Monchy's Fast Food (Union) — Restaurant in Union

The food was great. However, we ended up waiting for 50 minutes. We made two separate orders (picking up for friends). The first one came out in 20 minutes or so. The second took another 30 minutes. After getting tired of waiting (while constantly seeing people walk in to pick up their orders), I got up to ask why it was taking too long and I was politely told "they were experiencing an issue", which I could understand, if they had proactively told me about instead of waiting for me to get upset and approach the counter. When we finally got the rest of the order, they threw in a dessert for the wait, something we appreciated but by then the first order was cold and we were frustrated enough that we didn't want to eat ours. It was my first time there and I enthusiastically walked in as I had been looking for this kind of place in the area, only to have the customer service leave a bit of a bad taste. I loved the food and would otherwise recommend this place. I hope this review helps them manage customer expectations a bit better. To be clear, employees were polite and cordial at all times. The food was great, the environment was family friendly, clean, and the service was really good. For appetizer, we had some patacones/tostones loaded with guacamole, grilled steak, and hogao, it was delicious. We also had some stuffed arepas and an American hamburger. All the arepas were very flavorful, we had a munchies arepa, one stuffed with beef, chicken and cheese, and a Hawaiian arepa. All had amazing flavor and were freshly made. For drinks we ordered coconut lemonade, lulo juice and mango juice, all were very refreshing. I just wished the coconut lemonade had less sugar, but other than that, it was great.

We definitely will be coming back to try other menu items and enjoy a little pice of Colombia...

I visited this restaurant with a friend and had an amazing experience. The servers are very knowledgeable of the menu, give wonderful recommendations based on your likes, and are very accommodating. I had the American burger and fries, everything came out hot and fresh, definitely recommend trying the mayo-ketchup and garlic sauce for dipping the fries! The burger was absolutely delicious, made to order, rich flavor, and fresh ingredients! We also tried the Dubai Parfait deluxe and it was 1,000% worth the hype. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing and I loved the decor, very picture worthy. I will definitely be coming back and recommending...
