Not the usual Starbucks I stop at, but was very disappointed in my Drink. I knew at the window it didn't look correct. I did express this to the lady at the window, who appeared taken aback by my statement. (I RARELY complain , I prefer Saying kind and uplifting things to folks. It takes the same amount of energy to be kind than to complain ) However for what I had paid I did speak up. Most Starbucks I have been to and have watched with other customers when the drink isn't correct they offer immediately to remake it and they never make the customer feel as if they are making the employees day miserable. I felt as if I had to take it and be on my Merry way. My drink was $6.00 and it is still sitting in my cup holder 3/4 Full. I am now out $6. I am at Starbucks 7 days a week 2 times each day. My point is I am not a newbie to ordering things from them. I would not recommend this particular Starbucks (at least not the Drive Thru. ) please know this was a rare disappointment from Starbucks. Read moreI know mistakes are made and this is more a criticism of Starbucks Corporate than the people working at the Latrobe store: I bought a small cafe mocha last week and was charged $9.93 for it. I assume this was an accident. Regardless, I've spent the last week trying to get a refund of some sort for being overcharged like $5. The process has been incredibly stupid and overcomplicated to say the least. After 8 email correspondences, 4 phone calls and some other interactions- (all because I don't have a Starbucks card, sorry I'm a civilian who just stopped by for a drink) I still have not received a refund. Starbucks Corporate seems resolved to drag this out until I give up so they can steal my $. I wonder how many times this has happened to other customers. How many filthy rich corporate franchises get away with this sort of thing every day. Painfully stupid.
And in response to your response that prompted me to delete and repost this, I have already been on the phone with you 4 times for way too long about this and so far you've done nothing to resolve my issue- so why would I waste my time calling you again? Fix the issue...
Read moreFirst of all, this is not a reflection of the employees at all, but of upper management. I went in this evening for the first time in awhile. All I wanted was a pathetic decaf to end my very long day lol, as I can’t have caffeine anymore. On my way out of the lot I attempted to take a sip and the lid popped off as I picked it up. I went back to get a replacement lid, but it turned out no better. It spilled all over me and my car. I guess the tall cups and lids aren’t currently fitting right, but management continues to serve them. Did we not learn anything from the hot coffee incident at McDonalds? I was going to give just one star, but you get an extra star for an easy refund and friendly employees, and the delicious pup cup.
