The owner's lack of professionalism and customer service is beyond me. It's not only limited to customers, but the staff as well. For example, I came in to pick up a mobile order today. The girl at the counter ran over to hand me my smoothie after it was made, being that I got there earliar than pick up time. She was both fast, sweet, and communicative. She engaged in no longer than a 20 second dialouge with me at our exchange. Just as she was to close conversation and go back to make the next order, the manager rudely stepped over from the dining area and interrupted me saying good bye and thank you to the girl. The manager again cut me off and rather faciously said, "Excuse me, what are you doing?! Are you gunna make that other order, or?!" to the girl. Not once did she awknowledge me being there or apologize to me being that she acted in such a manner in front of me to her associate. And rightfully so, I defended the poor girl. I then called the location 3 different times after my visit to give feedback. The first time the call dropped. The second time the manager said not one word then hung up. The third time I made a point that I've been nothing, but nice on the call considering how frustrated I was making a formal suggestion about a professional matter. I went on to explain that I don't appreciate the way she handles business in a multitude of facets. When I asked for her name she said, "Kim and yes, I own this joint." Then when she raised her voice to me on the phone I said that I was done talking and she boisterously yelled goodbye three different times in succession. She doesn't own an ounce of decency. The only thing she owns is the business and it's not enough for her to get a pass on how she operates and presents herself. I know there is always something or someone in the work place that can fall flat, but as a manger she should be leading by example. I know people who both work there and are visibly bossed around and or left because of the constant barrating and abuse by her. This too was only one of many interactions that I've been uncomfortable with in the store. I'm usually not one to complain and I give a chance for understanding especially in social employment environments, but I had to speak my peace today. If it was not personally it was on behalf of staff and patrons alike. Hopefully moving forward she will have a change of heart, embracing a more positive attitude. Tropical Smoothie Cafe quickly became a favorite after our first visit. We tried the Green Dream Yogurt, Bahama Mama smoothie, and Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread, everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in a clean, well kept space. With a $10 savings from a local coupon and a free smoothie through the app, the value was unbeatable.
Each return visit has been just as impressive. From excellent service by Bridget W. and Abbie S. to generous smoothie samples and help with selections, the staff has always gone above and beyond. We’ve enjoyed everything from the Chipotle Chicken Club and Mango Magic Smoothie to breakfast sandwiches, fruit bowls, and refreshing free smoothie promos.

Read moreI did an online order through app. I have been waiting for 1 hour, while the app said 30 mins. I called there after an hour of waiting and the message that my points were redeemed. The stuff were obviously not pleasant to talk to me. To my problem all she could say that they did not get an order and can do nothing about it. After I stated that I have been charged and have a history, she said she will call back. She did not call back. I called again in 1 hour and a half and all the stuff said "Oh well". It would be beneficial if you could educate your stuff to be able to at least be more of a help in this situation. With no "goodbye" they got off the phone because they were busy.
