Not crazy to eat in here anymore! We went with friend ate at this place, I like it so much. I came back the 2nd time and the sandwich was cold. The manager corrected the food he told me this sandwich is a cold sandwich if you like he will make it hot. So he did. I was very happy. We came back again and order the hot sandwich. Guess what happened??? The bread was cold. I told the guy he wasn’t a manager he told me that he can make it hot. He came back, the bread was burned. It was literally black. He told me it wasn’t burn. I wasn’t happy. He told me give it back to him and he will make a new one but he wasn’t happy. He was rude and slammed the sandwich to the tray and really angry toasted to the garbage can. It was unpleasant to paying a lunch with that situation. In inside the sandwich they put the greens vegetables. I noticed that people were not looking in the middle what they put in it. My sandwich has an old veggie in it. So grossed. I said I want to talk to the manager, but he didn’t come to me and he was pretending that I wasn’t there. Although he knows I was sitting and waiting for him but he doesn’t want to have an eye contact with me. I realized that the guy who the one was helping me was telling me about what’s going on. So he doesn’t want to deal with it and just ignored me as a repeating customer. So sad. I...
Read moreI have been here many times before and the service and food have been more than fine and has been an enjoyable dining experience. However, on a Saturday evening, my friend and I have just experienced one of the most unenjoyable and dissatisfying experiences at East Hampton Sandwich co. We came in at 8:45 not knowing they didn't close until 9, but still, they don't close until 9. I ordered the lemon chicken sandwich with a side of watermelon salad. The chicken was so hard to chew I was so close to going back in and demanding a refund. It was dry, no lemon flavor, and just out right gross. Don't even get me started on the watermelon, "salad." They literally just chopped up pieces of watermelon and served it to me. I'm sorry, but for $1.95 I could have bought an entire watermelon for that price. From past experiences it usually comes with feta, basil, and basaltic; essential the cook was too lazy for this and decided to chop up plain un dressed water melon instead. To top it all off, out of pure laziness they served our food in plastic to-go bins followed by a smart comment saying how he was ready to get off work already. Overall, this experience was horrible and a waste of money, just go to Panera or chick f la...it's the same price with...
Read moreI've been hearing about East Hampton a lot so I had to try! I got the fried chicken sandwich (to go) without the jalapeño sauce and really enjoyed it. The bread was nice and soft, it looked like it was toasted but it wasn't warm at all. The chicken was really good but slightly dry, it wasn't bad enough to make a huge difference. I think the sweetness of the bun really added to the overall flavors of the chicken, bacon and avocado spread. I got the chips with the sandwich since I was taking it to go and didn't want to pay an extra $2 for fries. The chips weren't good to me, they were very hard and greasy. They seemed like they had good flavor but the harness and greasiness took away from that.
I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, it wasn't busy when I came in and it was very clean and decorated nicely. The inside reminded me of Florida or California near the beach. The customer service was great, and I got my food really quickly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I would definitely come back to dry...
