Jesse, the manager, refused to remake my green tea, which tasted like water, or provide a smaller size, stating only one size is available. He required me to reorder and repay for a remake. He confirmed one scoop of loose-leaf tea is used for a 16 oz serving. After I tasted the tea, Jesse tasted it himself, which is unhygienic. I requested a refund due to his refusal to remake the tea. Mark and Adam, please review the tea recipe and ensure all employees, including Jesse, follow Texas Food Establishment Rules (§228.83), which prohibit tasting customer beverages to prevent cross-contamination. We definitely will not be back. Yes, this is a health department violation. Under Texas Food Establishment Rules (TFER) §228.83, adopted in Dallas, employees must prevent contamination during tasting by using clean spoons or disposable utensils from a protected supply—not by directly tasting a customer-tasted beverage. This risks cross-contamination via saliva, violating hygiene standards in Subchapter D.

First time here today and OMG! Why hasn’t anyone told me about this place? Keeping all the best coffee secrets to themselves. Selfish! The price was amazing which blew my mind and not my wallet. Coffee was amazing and so was the almond milk. I had a coffee at home but came here to meet a previous co-worker/friend only to make a new friend, LDU! Can’t wait to be back... tomorrow. Lol

Visiting from Perth Australia so was very excited to be able to try out LDU as we miss our coffee! Was not disappointed, great coffee, creamy perfectly steamed milk and appropriately sized cups! Throw in some great staff and fun atmosphere and this place is surely one of the best in the DFW.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!

This is a cozy shop nestled off of Preston. They make wonderful coffee, espresso and espresso drinks.

This shop is perfect for coffee snobs, or someone who wants to stray from Starbucks overburnt beans.

They have a simple menu, and don't offer a ridiculous amount of mix in offerings. Just honey, vanilla and sugar. They do offer dairy alternatives, so don't worry about that.

The coffee has a wonderful flavor and the temperature that they brew it and pull their shots is perfect. You can drink it right away if you want without fear of burning your mouth.

They have food available (sandwiches and pastries) as well as an incredible hot sauce. Buy the hot sauce. Seriously.

The staff is incredibly kind, they make your order when you order and are great to talk to.

The music inside is great as well. Definitely worth a trip and a cup!

Pro Tip-you can order online or in the store, but bring some cash for a tip. There credit card system isn't set...

Love this place. Have wanted to go for quite some time and was finally able to pop in. The owner, or co-owner I’m not sure, really pays attention to you and your order. Fully explaining and not rushing, he stands out from behind the counter so it felt like having a conversation with an old friend. Really well balanced drink and true Australian style espresso. The sandwich was great but I must say— I would love to see it on a nice thick, crunchy sourdough! I hope also to see reusable keep cups with the name or logo! This is a slow style coffee shop, they take time to make your drink well. Don’t...
