I drove 40 minutes in to have the 80 minute prenatal massage as a way to relax before I get induced the next day. The masseuse was wonderful and the special tables they have made a big difference (why I was willing to drive this far). However, itās nearly impossible to enjoy any of that when another client getting an ultrasound parks her screaming baby in a stroller in the hallway right outside my treatment room for at least half of my massage. Other groups had come in for an ultrasound while I was there and were a little louder than ideal for something billed as a āspaā experience but not a big deal. This mom (who brought her own mother and grandmother with her) apparently did not want to detract from her own scan experience so left the screaming and neglected baby (who according to the tech needed both a bottle and diaper change) out in the hallway in the stroller for 30-40 minutes for the rest of us to deal with. The tech and masseuse agreed it was bad enough that they recommended I call customer service and ask for a free massage.
Customer service says the ultrasound is billed as āfamily experienceā and therefore this is just something that can happen. The most they can offer is 15% refund, which I will need to go back to the store to get in cash despite paying with a card. After more back and forth and another 10-15 minutes on hold, she finally agrees to send the refund by Zelle.
To sum up, masseuse was great, pregnancy tables were greatā¦but be warned there will be tons of families in and out of the āspaā during your treatment and they have no policies in place to ensure any kind of noise control or calm environment for your massage. Customer service left a lot to be desired.
Mostly I feel bad for this poor baby that was left to sit alone hungry and in a dirty diaper for over 30 minutes because mom and grandma care more about finding out gender of baby #2 than taking care of the baby already here. Feels pretty basic that someone working here could have said, no you may not leave your screaming baby unattended in the hallway while you get your ultrasound. Not at all the relaxing day before delivery I had hoped to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate that Iām writing this review, but here we go. Iāve had two negative experiences with Little Bellies Dallas.
In January 2024, I came in for an ultrasound of my 15+6 week old baby. Unfortunately, during this appointment it was determined that my babyās heart stopped beating and he was no longer with me. The sonographer (or whatever they are called) was relatively cold about the whole thing. They charged me full price for this visit and sent me the pictures of my deceased fetus.
Fast forward to Last Saturday, 8.24.2024, my husband and I came in for an early pregnancy ultrasound. Of course we are ultra cautious due to our late miscarriage in January. Wellā¦. We went into the room and within literal second of putting the gel on me, the sonographer immediately says there is no baby only an empty sac. We were in and out of that room in under 3 minutes. She barely pressed down and absolutely did not search. I was shocked and upset as Iāve done HCG testing and was certainly 6 weeks as we planned the pregnancy. She made me think that I had a blighted ovum. I couldnāt even sleep and developed heart palpitations. I went to ER and told them why I was experiencing my anxiety attack and they were nice enough to do another ultrasound. Lo and behold, there is certainly a baby, in the correct spot, and he/she has a heartbeat. This was less than 12 hours after we left Little Bellies.
I truly believe they offer early 5-7 week ultrasounds knowing it maybe hard to see or they donāt try hard enough. Then they offer a follow up visit on their least busy days M-Th when most people are at work. They probably know that most people wonāt come back in the two week time frame due to their schedules. So they essentially took our money and we got nothing from it but a headache and an additional bill.
We cannot take off work for this āfree follow up visitā. They didnāt even give us our moneyās worth the first time. It was basically a waste of money and we left with anxiety. We also incurred a hospital bill due to the results of this visit to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely Disappointed ā Unprofessional and Untrustworthy Experience My second visit here was absolutely horrible. From the start, the technician asked if we wanted additional measurements beyond the standard ones they offer. We clearly said NO, as we were already 24 weeks along and had just completed our anatomy scan. We also understood that this facility is not medically licensed, so there was no reason to do extra measurements. Despite this, the tech proceeded to perform them anyway and upcharged us for it without consent. Completely unacceptable. The quality of the ultrasound photos we received was beyond disappointing you could barely tell what part of our baby we were even looking at. To make matters worse, I was sent someone elseās sonogram images. That is absolutely horrifying and a massive breach of privacy. These are peopleās most personal and precious moments, and to send someone elseās images is not just careless itās dangerous. I submitted a post-visit review expressing my concerns, and they offered a rescan. I initially canceled because I didnāt feel comfortable returning to the same tech. When I called later to reschedule with a different technician and at a different location, I was told there was no record of a credit or rescan ever being promised. I specifically asked them to review the call and look into it. Oscar (from the Dallas location, I believe) promised to investigate and call me back. Itās now been three weeks, and I havenāt received a single follow-up or any form of communication. For a service that charges $100ā$180 per scan, youād expect basic professionalism, care, and accuracy. Instead, we were rushed, given poor-quality images, upcharged for services we declined, and treated with disregard. No one even checked to make sure we were satisfied with the photos before leaving. This was a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company to any...
