I went to this spa in JAN 2021 for a coolsculpting evaluation. I was not happy with some stubborn fat I haven't been able to tone with diet and exercise, and to top it off in 2020 we all gained the covid weight - even me.

The place is beautiful and very new and this helped build trust. All the girls were extremely friendly and welcoming. I was evaluated during my first visit and was told I was a qualified candidate for coolsculpting.

I was very clear with Carrie and told her I would be OK with waiting for coolsculpting if I needed to first reduce the covid weight as my main goal was to ultimately remove the stubborn fat that even pre-covid I was not able to burn with diet and exercise. I can easily go back to my normal weight with diet and exercise. I was told i would see amazing results and up to 25% fat reduction per round in each area and would be very happy with the results. Carrie and team told me I would only see even better results if I went ahead and did coolsculpting AND diet and exercise all at once in JAN. I trusted her and the team and signed. Even after 50% off, my first round of coolsculpting was $3,400. I went along with it as I was desperate as I had a trip coming up which already passed and I didn't look great. I was told areas could be done all at once so that i would spend less time visiting the spa - this is one thing that they marketed to me. That was not true. My first round I had to go 3 different sessions. Each was 1 hr 30mins long. I was told other estheticians were using the rest of the aplicators so they had to see me different times. Additionally, some areas you cannot do in same visit bc of how cumbersome the machines are. I just sighed and went with it even though they had sold me this idea that in just 45 mins i would be in and out. Keep in mind, I was trying to avoid lipo because of the amount of time it takes to prepare for it and post-op. also, my treatments varied between estheticians so I had to often remind them what had already been treated and what needed to be treated next. i didn't feel like carla was well prepared. keilee on the other hand was better.

I started doing soulcycle 4 times a week and running 1 day a week in the first 2 months. additionally, i ate healthy 6 days a week. i wanted to speed up results. when i went to my follow up end of march, i was consulted by someone else than my 1st evaluation. carla was the one that took my photos and said great job you're doing so great. keep in mind, i was busting my butt off at soul cycle and in march started going to barry's 3 times a week and running 2 times a week to change up the routine. i was noticing changes but not drastic changes initially marketed to me in my previous consultations. the results i was seeing were the same as when i work out and eat healthy - which is NOT what i was going for. i wanted stubborn fat to go away!. i was still desperate and signed to do another round of cool sculpting. after 30% discount i paid another $2,600 as i was needing results and now i was realizing the stubborn fat was still there after the first treatment. again, sold the idea that i would see AMAZING results and that "itll be great!" etc and same process - multiple visits as the machines were used elsewhere and not one appt lasted 45 mins. cumbersome machines to be used on my body so they couldnt do multiple areas in one visit.

i went on my trip in mid april not looking what i was hoping to look like and much worse NOT what i was marketed. my stubborn fat is still there. I LOOK THE SAME AS WHEN I DIETED AND EXERCISED. My percent body fat dropped by only 3% and my body fat mass dropped by 5.8 lbs. Keep in mind, I spent $6,000 in cool sculpting (SO much money) + serious exercise and diet.

i scheduled my last follow up this MON and was already frustrated going in. a new girl took care of me. she takes pictures of me and i tell her i am very dissatisfied for many reasons. a new service gets sold to me. i decline as i am moving and am back to square 1 but it won't be with vitalyc spa. beware of the...

Please save yourself from this medspa, I wish someone would have warned me what was to come… If you’re looking for an experienced, HONEST, and professional provider, do NOT come here. I feel that I need to warn people about my experience, if only I had been warned it would have saved me 15-20k in corrective work.

I bought a package of three Morpheus8 sessions, that was about a year ago. Since then, I have deeply regretted getting any work done at Vitalyc, as I’ve suffered endless problems to my skin, face structure, badly placed filler, etc. here. The WORST of all: I experienced facial fat loss on all parts of my face that was never intended, to the point I don’t even recognize myself in the mirror any longer. I am deeply distraught and emotional about how my face will look in 10-20 years as I know how important facial fat pads are to remaining looking youthful. I have continued to purchase package after package and fillers after another for my face that I’ve never really needed in the past in hopes to fix what was done (before I noticed the fat loss). I’ve had to buy laser sessions elsewhere to remove the veins under my eyes that all the sudden became superficial due to the fat loss underneath my eyes. I've spent in total nearly 10k at Vitalyc to look WORSE than when I walked in. My beautiful big cheeks are DEFLATED to flat and now lay close to my bone, my face looks skeleton-like and my eyes appear closer together from the significant temporal fat loss. I also suffered from skin texture irregularities, lack of healthy glow to my skin, unbalanced facial features due to the loss of fat, bones more prominent, and that list isn’t exhaustive.

The only way to fix this depletion of fat is a fat graft to the face (surgery by a plastic surgeon $5k+ MINIMUM, possibly needing to be done twice).

When I realized what had happened (since the process was very gradual, up to 6 months after each treatment), I immediately notified the provider and informed them about the issue. We set up a meeting in which me and three other people listened to my concerns. They basically gaslit me, acting like nothing has changed in my face, but they did offer ONE syringe of Sculptra- which would not have fixed the fat loss in my entire face, so I refused and they excused me as a customer. I asked for a refund for the unused PRE-PAID services I purchased and when they refunded the UNUSED services, they acted like they were doing me a favor.

I’m not sure who told Vitalyc that melting fat down to the bone is ever a good look, but in an attempt to rejuvenate my SKIN, which I thought we were doing, the Vitalyc provider who treated me decided it was okay to melt the fat along my whole jawline, around my mouth, and then subsequently (meaning to or not) all over my face. These changes combined can massively impact someone’s look and their ability to recognize themselves in the mirror (a normal concern after major SURGERY). I did not come here for a major transformation or for fat melting (besides UNDER my chin)- but that’s sadly what happened.

This spa denied seeing any fat atrophy when it’s clear in every single picture that I suffered fat loss on my cheeks, temples, under eyes, chin, and jawline. They did however, mention that their machine malfunctioned, although they don’t want to give details on what exactly happened. I also find it interesting that information is not included in my medical record. There were also multiple other false points of documentation in my medical record as well if that tells you anything about this place. Hmmm… sounds like they don’t want to accept faults for the destruction...

I had the worst experience with a business that I have been giving my money to for two years. Be aware of this business. They do not value their loyal customers who are signed up for their membership. This company withdraws $100 from my account monthly.

I have been going to the Preston location for almost a year now. Before that, I went to the Addison location. Storytime: since I have been getting my facials and services at the Preston location, I only correspond with them. Well... Last week, Addison was running a promotion and texted me about Botox. I got confused and thought it was the Preston location and showed up to take advantage of the 30% off of Botox. Well, the directory or manager at the Preston location did not honor it. Seriously? A customer for 2 years and you won't honor a one-time discount? It's truly a reflection of how they feel about loyal customers. So sad. This may be petty. But both locations have high retention and keep quality employees because they refuse to pay them market value. Matter of fact, their Addison location has ALL NEW staff members. Thank you for giving me the push needed to follow My esthetician that left you guys because you wouldn't pay her worth. I'm not surprised that you treat your customers like this when you treat your employees horribly.

Thanks for nothing,...
