I had a very frustrating experience at this Subway. An older employee rushed me through the ordering process, and when I tried to confirm my order, I was brushed off with “your order is right there.” As a result, I received an incorrect order. When I returned to address the mistake, the same employee gave me attitude for an error that was clearly on their part. I showed him my confirmation code to clarify the order, and he dismissed it, saying, “we don’t have that order; you ordered at a different store.” After confirming the address, it was clear I had ordered from the correct location. Assuming my order would be prepared, I waited. A younger employee then brought out another sandwich, and when I asked if it was mine, she also claimed they didn’t have my order. I showed her the screenshot and my Apple Pay payment notification, which included “Subway $11.99.” After seeing this, she finally located my order and began preparing it. I ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a sandwich that was supposed to be ready upon my arrival per the app, dealing with attitude the entire time. The young lady apologized, but the older employee, who I assume may be the owner, remained in the back and offered no acknowledgment or apology for his mistake and hostility. Read moreI live right around the corner and have given this location several chances, but after today, I’m done. The person who assisted me—who I believe is the owner—was rude and showed zero customer service skills. He wasn’t friendly and acted like I was a bother for even being there.
I’ve also noticed a constant turnover of employees, which now makes sense. If this is how the owner treats customers, I can only imagine how he treats his staff. In this economy, I’d rather spend my money at a place that values both its customers and employees. I’ll be going to a different Subway...
