Nice way to get in several miles of biking with minimal interaction with vehicles. However, there are several street crossings with signals. I've been seeing more homeless people along the path but have never been bothered by anyone. There are also a couple of areas that seem a bit "dated" but, again, have never had any problems riding through them. There are usually many other bikers, runners and walkers on the trail so it feels friendly and safe to me. As far as biking goes the concrete path is smooth with mostly gentle grades. Read moreThis is a great trail to walk or bicycle from Pomona to Rialto. The only minor flaw is that there are many roads crossing this trail, so I need to stop many times to wait for the lights. I and my two kids who are 9 and 15 years old started from Rancho Cucamonga to Rialto. On other day, We tried from Rancho Cucamonga to Pomona. It was very good time both side. My two kids like Pomona area but I like Rialto area. I recommend leaving an hour before sunset. If you depart at that time, you will be able to see the cool breeze and the wonderful sunset.
