I donated to American Cancer society in Upland because my aunt passed away from Cancer. They did come to my house to pick up. It was a truck full of items. I was told I would receive a donation letter and NEVER did. I called to let them know that I had additional items of hers and also wanted to see about getting donation letter from previous pick up. I've called 3 times!!! Even the poor lady who answers the phone made a comment that she doesn't understand why the guy who handles this hasn't called back. Very unorganized. Read moreAnyone who has ever gone here knows, these women, who work here are all survivors and volunteers. They have people coming in and shop lifting all the time, right after their visits to the methadone clinic, they put together furniture, unload and load it, and they are grandmothers.. these women are hero's trying to help raise money for current cancer treatment patients for wigs, support groups, transport...anyone who has anything bad to say about them can say it to me, and I will put a mirror in your face. Read moreThis thrift shop used to be my favorite coming here with my grandmother. The ladies never say hello or ask how you are doing, and the only sweet lady is a fiery haired woman. I guess they have their favorite shoppers, and considering how much we come here, we should be considered regulars.
