The owner kindly greeted me upon entrance along with an interesting odor. It was almost enough to make me walk away and I should have. But I stayed because the majority of reviews are decent. I initially came for pasta, but decided to try the pizza first instead. So I ordered the two slice with drink special. I requested the Grandma's pizza which there were only two slices left. The picture and description is a lot different than what I received. It looked and tasted like a regular Sicilian slice to me. Barely any sauce and a huge crust which should have been more pizza. Aside from that, every single table was dirty. The owner knew I planned to stay and eat because he asked, but he didn't bother to wipe down any tables. The only decent one was the one we sat at. There were also no visible high chairs for use so I had to tussle with my granddaughter the entire time. The floors were extremely sticky as well. I came around 3 pm. I heard a lot of calls coming in for orders being placed. It's seems as though they need a little more help in order to manage better. I decided against ordering the pasta to go. The owner has really good energy. Positive and welcoming I wish them all the best.

It was our first time here & WOW! Everything was amazing! We were welcomed in & immediately felt like we found our new favorite place. From the minute we got there, we felt taken care of. The dining area was very comfortable & the added Italian music from the televisions was so awesome. The kitchen was visible from the counter & was immaculate & we got to watch our host make our pizza right in front of us. We watched as he generously piled on top quality ingredients & sliding it into the pizza oven. Our salads were huge & had freshly grated cheese on top & a hot breadstick. Our Buffalo pizza was incredible. He customized our Buffalo pizza with half with really hot sauce & my husband's half with mild sauce. This place is a must visit! The menu was endless! The friendliness of our hosts exceeded expectations! Hearing him greet regulars in person & when taking orders by phone with genuine value & appreciation really resonated with us! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Vito's Pizza!!!

The worst food, and I cautiously use the term food here, my husband and I have had the misfortune of ingesting. We ordered baked ziti and stuffed shells, and I discovered what appears to be surgical suturing in my ziti ! I have attached an image of several pieces of an unknown material, and am just sickened. It appears to be manmade, fibrous, and does not easily tear. At first, I thought it was a sliver of onion, or perhaps a bristle from a basting brush; though I cannot identify the material. I wish I still had my microscope. Aside from the mysterious fibrous, suture-like material in the food, the sauce was thin and runny, sweetened with sugar, and had no herbs or seasonings. I am just so disgusted right now, and will not be back to Vito's. I may even report this experience up the chain to food inspection authorities and provide the mysterious objects for investigation. Please, BEWARE.

Returning for the first time since the ownership change a couple of weeks ago. First look the place was remodeled a bit and they now sell beer on tap. When you walk in you will notice no menu board and as you can expect that is because the prices went up across the board. That is true but not that much as our total bill was a few bucks more. Long time employee Sam is still working there so there was some familiarity. The place was busy with a lot of take out as we were dining in. However the wait time was about the same as before. As for the food we had large pizza and a sub with 3 sodas. We had 1 issue most likely do to a miscommunication but it was corrected quickly with no fuss. Now I didn’t eat any of the tuna sub but right of the bat the rolls are different but not that they were bad in anyway. It was full of tuna meat. As for the taste the tuna it tastes a little different than expected but not bad. Overall it was a fine sub but as good as before as such not worth our 10 miles trek for that. Now for pizza I just had a large plain cheese pizza. Right way I noticed a few things I didn’t like about the pizza. First off the crust was thicker then before and I like a thinner more foldable crust as well as a smaller outer crust like before. Now I have some personal cardinal sins about pizza and two of them committed. First sauce should be evenly spread across the pizza and not pushed so most of it is at the outer crust like this was. Second is cheese should applied all the way to the outer crust so there is not crust sauce then cheese like this was. As for taste it was very good but no as good as before. Overall our meal was good and will definitely go back for another try. It just was not a good as when Jerry owned it. However he set the bar very high. With that being said it is still one of the better places for pizza around the area. In the end I could only give 4 stars for...

Vito's (this location is the Winding Hill Giant Shopping Complex) is a very recent addition, filling in the spot vacated by the previous tenant, which was Brothers, and had great food and very friendly staff. So far, it appears Vitos is keeping that tradition. The interior is fresh and inviting due to a remodel, and the person we ordered from was very friendly. The menu choices are what'd you'd expect, and anytime I try a new place with familiar offerings, I always stick to the basics as a way to find a baseline. We tried the Grandmas pizza, which was outstanding. We had a slice of what I believe was a white pizza with cheese, olive oil, garlic, chicken and maybe something else, and that was also excellent. My wife tried a slice of the "sandwich" pizza, which I didn't because the concept didn't appeal to me. She said it was like a flat hoagie. I then tried just a basic plain cheese pizza. The dough was more chewy or thick than I tend to like (almost like Sicilian), but that's a personal preference. It was good, next time I'll ask for extra sauce. The prices were very reasonable. This location adds another great option for good pizza...
