Burmont Pizza and Grill — Restaurant in Upper Darby

Was in the mood to try a different pizza place, so google pizza near me... this place had a very high review, so why not.

I am not upset, just disappointed.

Ordered online. Which is a nice feature to have. Customized two pizzas. (So i understand some added price) they have alot of available options.

The shop was nice, parking near by so it was easy.

But the pizza... was okay, at best.

I got double pepperoni on one ($2 add on), and if thats what is called double (see picture) then a normal must be a sad amount of pepperoni.

I got ranch drizzle on one (another add on), not know what that is exactly, maybe expecting it on top all fancy like. But i can see no ranch (see picture), so i assumed maybe it melted into the cheese? No ranch flavor or even a hint.

So in all i am not pleased with Burmont pizza. Its an okay pizza for for the price it not a good deal. And then paying extra for add ons and not getting any (from my perspective) makes it even less worth it.

These folks sent us a menu recently. We have never tried their food but decided to give them a chance last night. We ordered a chicken cheesesteak and a small vegetable stromboli for my wife. The food was ready in a timely manner but that was the ONLY good thing i can say about this place. The chicken cheesesteak was the worst i have ever had. It tasted as if the salt shaker top fell off and they didnt feel like wasting the chicken. Absolutely unedible and no real way to fix it…a true salt sandwich…and i like stuff on the saltier side but this was TRULY unedible. The stromboli was better but not by a lot. No flavor of any kind. The crust DID look really good…percectly golden brown which was promising - but the taste was a 5/10 at best. I dont like bashing places but they absolutely ruined my wifes and I Friday meal that we usually look forward to because its the only time we order out. I hope they get better cooks. We...

First time customer: Ordered a margherita pizza. Great paper thin crust, good crisp on the end. Great, light and flavorful crust....a bitter, yet tasty sauce.

Unfortunately the pizza was cold by the time it got to me, and the condensation from sitting in the box had made the crust soggy. The very heavy sauce im sure, didnt help the matter. I don't fault the cook for that however.

Great potential. Ill bet fresh out of the oven this would have been great. Will try again with a pickup order and lighter sauce.

Buffalo chicken fries however, were inedible and the fries were raw. Will skip next time.

Delivery driver was friendly and courteous.
