Drexel hill pizza & grill — Restaurant in Upper Darby

I’m not leaving this review to be rude but just to give an account of my experience with this restaurant which is lackluster to say the least. I was not treated with the basic level of respect that you think a paying customer would get.during the course of my order there was a lack of communication which led the person who took my order to speak to me in a very disrespectful and rude manner. Upon calling them to rectify the situation I was yelled at spoken down to and treated as if my complaints didn’t matter, this happened over the course of several phones calls where I was yelled at over and over and hung on repeatedly when I was just trying to resolve the matter. In my opinion it is extremely unprofessional and it makes your business look so bad. The behavior I experienced was untoward. There was also the delivery person who also spoke to me disrespectfully instead of treating me with respect he kept asking me where his money was ,even though there was no communication that I was told regarding what to give the driver. I did a debit card purchase and that included a tip. This business does not conduct themselves in a professional manner and that is concerning because paying customers deserve way more. A manager handles these types of disputes but he also unfortunately dropped the ball in that regard. He did apologize to me for his staff’s behavior but only after seemingly not understanding what my complaint was about because it was not about 2 dollars, which the manager kept relaying, in fact I only called in about how I was being treated over the phone. It felt like the entire staff was missing the reason why I had a complaint to begin with which left me very frustrated. It felt like the staff had no intention of trying to understand where I was coming from and they kept making it about something that never got relayed back to me. This entire situation was an organizational failure and you guys must do better by your customers . You failed communicating, giving good customer service, and treating people with common decency. Which again reflects on the entire organization in a way that I don’t think you guys want it to. I expected more from this business and I was let down. This is one of my worst costumer service I...

Awful food....AWFUL PEOPLE in that awful so called food place...I ordered chicken wings. They were very expensive. $16.00 for 10 wings. I ordered them dry. I don't like sauce on my wings. I also asked if they were big....She said they were..So.....I get them chicken wings......i open the box....I see 10 SMALL chicken wings. They were SOOOOOOO dry..I could not chew them. I called to let them know I was very unhappy with the wings. The lady just yelled and yelled. So if you want good wings and pizza....DON"T SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AT DREXEL HILL PIZZA AND GRILL! I called the place this morning and got no where. Just an ear full of your not getting your money back. She just Yelled and handed the phone to a man who was just as disrespectful as her. My husband even tried to reason with him only to have my husband disrespected. Oh yes...the pizza was oily and not so good. They even called the police. I got a call from an officer. I support local businesses in my area. This place is off my list. The wings you dont see...are the ones I...

Not somewhere I would ever order from again.

Both the Stromboli and the Cheese Steak we ordered came loaded with olives for some reason despite no where saying they included olives (I just double checked).

The reuben we ordered wasn't Corned Beef yet didn't say it would be a different meat & whatever meat was on the sandwich was burnt till dry and black.

Chicken tenders were also half the size of most places on top of getting less of them than other places.

The stromboli, aside from all the olives no one ordered, was also very disappointing for being over $18! Had to cut the thing open to pick out all the olives and discovered there wasn't even enough toppings/cheese to cover all the dough where there was toppings, and the outer 2-3" of it were completely devoid of anything, just dough almost as wide as a cellphone all the way around the thing.

Don't waste your money on this place, do yourself a favor and order from Pizza Odyssey right down the street. Prices are comparable and the food is way better with better...
