Halal Kabab & Curry — Restaurant in Upper Darby

Me and my husband were there tonight for dinner. It was our first experience in any pakistani restaurant.We ordered chicken sesh kebab as an app, garlic Naan, chicken halim, lamb biryani and also goat paya as our main course. We both loved it so much.Garlic Naan was extremely good coz there were enough quantity of garlic which was also very nicely cooked which can rarely be seen in other places.it was beyond delicious, freshly made.also we ordered all our food with no spicy and our order were prepared as per our request. Feels like homely made food and environment.So happy with their service. And also ordered carry out food as our tummy were full but not our heart and mouth :) .Thank you soo much to the owner and the cook team. Will visit soon with our family. I can’t remember what i ordered from here when they first opened. I haven’t been there since. Whatever it was i wasn’t impressed but i gave them another try tonight wasn’t many options around opened on a holiday and fairly late. They have been there longer than any other restaurant that was at that location so people must enjoy the food. I ordered shahi paneer and vegetable pakora. I was surprised i really liked the entree. It was a bit oily but not too bad. The pakora was different from others I’ve had. It was a little dry and way more spicy than others I’ve tried but the flavor was good. It’s the only Indian restaurant close by but it’s not my first choice. Distance and location is the only thing that makes it an okay spot...

Absolutely delicious! This Pakistani halal spot in Upper Darby is a hidden gem. The kebabs are juicy, perfectly spiced, and grilled to perfection. Their chicken seekh kebab and beef bihari kabab were standouts—so flavorful and tender. We also tried the chicken karahi and goat curry, both rich in flavor with just the right amount of heat.

The naan was fresh and fluffy, straight from the tandoor, and paired so well with the curries. Portions were generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food came out hot and fresh.
