To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how this particular franchise still exists. In the last 16 years that I've lived in Clifton Heights, I can count on 1 hand, how many times I've actually gotten what I ordered. Went there tonight around 10:00 only because the friend we were with had a craving for KFC. We tried to order an 8 piece fried chicken meal only to be told "we don't have enough chicken for that." When we pulled up to the drive thru, they initially asked if we'd like to try a $5 Fill Up bucket. Since they didn't have enough chicken for an 8 piece meal, we figured we'd try a $5 Fill Up; one with 1 piece of chicken breast each & a popcorn chicken Fill Up. We were then advised that it wasn't that they didn't have enough chicken for the original 8 piece order, they didn't have any chicken at all. They did, however, have popcorn chicken that was still frozen so we had to park & wait 15 minutes for them to cook it. The car behind us tried to order a few tacos only to be told "we don't have any tacos." Some people might think "well, it was 10:00pm" but trust me, it doesn't make a difference. I've gone to KFC at various times in the last 16 years & have been told more times than not that they're "out of chicken" or "out of tacos." During one visit at 5pm on a Sunday, they ran out of chicken completely & were racing to fry up more. Due to the wait, the manager handed out cups to every customer for free drinks. There were so many of us & the wait was so long that the fountain soda machine started to smoke & died out completely from overuse. Not sure how you can call yourself KFC/Taco Bell if you quite literally NEVER have chicken or tacos. It's a joke. The only reason I put one star is because no stars isn't an...
Read moreOrdered online to be picked up. Its a raining day. Went there and saw a line in drive through, i then decided to go to front door to pick up but the door was not opened so i went to drive through thinking that that is the only option to be picked up. The drive through has only 1 lane and you cannot get out if theres another car behind you.
Dude on comm said i gotta go to front to pick up online order, but i was stuck in drive through. Went to the 1st window and thinking theyd make an exception, but nope. Got attitude saying, "idk why yall keep coming to drive throught to pick up".
Asked me for what i ordered and i told her, she then said i gotta go to front and ring door bell. I said thanks and went there. Saw a guy waiting there so i went up to the door too and rang the bell and told them my order. Mind you that its raining too. Waited over 10 mins for my order at the front door and i bet the guy that was waiting before me was also frustrated.
Lady came out to comfirm my order and said idk why yall not waiting in car. The guy that handed my food was cool tho.
They should have instruction or something online so people know what to expect. I gotta say mcdonalds app does a way better job for...
Read moreActually stopped by here for a quick taco bell pick me up. Was sorely disappointed my first challupa was not even warm it was cold and crunchy. I had not eaten in a TB in years so I thought maybe things had changed, hell there used to be a gordiata on the menu the last time I was there. So the young lady waiting on me informed me that Since I was ordering two challupa's and a drink it would be more cost effective to get a meal deal of two challupa's, a taco and a drink, oh but there is an extra charge if you want to have chichen on that taco. Penalized for not eating beef! So as I was eating I saw the black shirt attired woman who was taking the drive through order sitting at a table eating chicken......while she was taking an order and I repeat eating. When I get up to leave I pass the table where she was sitting and there is a napkin with some chicken bones on the table. Been a long time since I had been in a Taco Bell may be an even longer time before I step foot back in one. Seriously...
