Wawa — Restaurant in Upper Darby

This location of WAWA is not the best for sure, but I happen to visit it regularly on the way to my gym. I normally grab a coffee ☕️ and some quick snacks before my daily workout. This location is always busy with customers yet they have hot coffee, shelves are replenished and full and most importantly staff are friendly and helpful with customers. This one thing is very important for any business! When staff are smiling and asking the customers how they are, means they truly care for what they are doing. This is a strong parameter for measuring any business, how they are performing. Happy customers and happy employees are great assets for any business. Wawa on State Road UD...I was taken back a little bit. I haven't been to this store in about 2 yrs. Just seemed dirty and deli worker's looked like they was on meth ! Not very tidy lookin either. They were nice, but my first impressed was WTH ! This place needs to be updated like the other wawa's. Otherwise, my visit here was so-so. It was a close to my house, but from now on i think I'll drive the extra mile and go to the new super wawa on West Chester Pike where i used to go...Its much cleaner and I'd feel a lot safer.. I’m highly disappointed with this store, and multiple other locations. Being a service contractor, I travel quite a bit for work. This is now the 4th Wawa, in two separate states in 3 days, that have hand sanitizer in the soap dispensers in the men’s room. So that means every employee that uses the restroom is not properly washing their hands before leaving. Not only is that a health violation, it is quite disturbing.
