NO FREE CHIPS AND SALSA! I should have read the reviews more carefully before going. I thought that an average rating of 4.3 shouldn’t be too bad. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best. First off the decor was fun. Very colorful. The table had a fun top but beware of the bulky large table leg. Took up a lot of room where your legs should be. And my partner hurt his leg. The food was alright. We had to order chips and pico separately which was fine but it was way over priced for the quality. We also ordered the cheese nachos which was like what you would get at the movie theater or the high school football stadium. Also got a tamale which was fresh and tasted pretty decent; they asked if I wanted red or green sauce but there wasn’t any actually on the tamale. For entrees I got the chicken Jalisco which was the better of the two entrees. Pretty tasty. My partner got the fiesta fajita which he said was bland and boring. The tortillas that came with didn’t seem homemade which was disappointing. The fajita didn’t come with any extras like pico or lettuce or sour cream or anything like that which was again disappointing. For dessert, the flan came in a takeout box which was fine but felt like it was premade and just packaged up. The hostess was nice. They were understaffed and the poor girl was running all over from table to table. All in all I was disappointed but I guess one can only ask for so much in Pennsburg. I love supporting local businesses but I’m not so sure if we’ll be going back.

This is a very good local Mexican restaurant. I've eaten here a few times over the years and have always had good food. I had an issue the other year when they charged a different price than was on the menu, and I believe they stated it was because I used a credit card. I paid cash this time, so I don't know if that is still a thing. The interior is decorated with a nice Mexican motif, but the booths have a giant box under them, causing knee interference problems if you're tall like me.... The building is an old donut shop, so it's not very large, but they did a nice job decorating it. They have American entrees on the menu and my son said that the burgers were good. They have delicious chips with a chipotle style sauce, but only one basket is free if I remember correctly. I should probably eat here more often as it is close and they have good food. UPDATE 2024: The food is still good here, but their style of cooking doesn't use a lot of seasoning, letting you taste the real food, but sometimes seeming bland. I've finally been here for breakfast and I really liked it.

Went with my coworkers at lunchtime. They were kind enough to set up a larger table for us so we could all sit together. Ordered a chicken chimichanga. It was pretty good, not mindblowing but good. You can tell that their red pepper sauce they give you is home made, and the complimentary chips are as well. Everyone else in out party also seemed to enjoy their food, no complaints whatsoever. I have a food allergy to dairy and I did not have a reaction, which is always a good sign. Decor is cheezy but it fits just fine. Friendly staff, decent food, good prices, I like it.

Sad ending for supporting a local business since they opened. Maybe you would be upset to if you purchased several gift card's years ago with no expiration date and they refused to honor one. They may have been purchased during covid. I use to hand them out as gifts. It is important to me to help local businesses. During covid whatever the bill was I would give a generous amount extra every time.. several times a week. The staff was always thankful. Tonight my girlfriend and I decided to get take out. While looking for their menu in our drawer I found a gift card for $25 that I purchased at the east greenville location years ago. (No expiration date and both locations listed on the card, Quakertown and east greenville) and decided to use it. Being with our baby all day my girlfriend wanted to get some fresh air and pick up the take out, I gave her the gift card to be redeemed. She left and came home with the food. She told me that the gift card was not accepted because it was purchased at the Quakertown location. Mind you I have never stepped foot in the Quakertown location. At this point I decided to call about this issue because it is about principal and this did not sit well with me. I spoke with the owner and she began saying that it was purchased at Quakertown (that was not true) She then said it was from years ago, then she said she can honor $15 of the $25 gift card, how is this fair? The gift card had no expiration date, it also wasnt signed so i guess that was my fault as well? Knowing how wrong this was I decided to drive to the restaurant. Upon arrival with patience I just asked for the $25 back. Knowing she was wrong the business owner said I tried to call you back and I will honor the card this time only. She refunded the gift card amount. I asked for an apology to clear the air and continue to do business and she refused saying I owe her one because I was upset on the phone (who wouldn't be?) This is a business my family supported every week or every other week for years and years.. along with many many customers I sent their way. Lost customer over...
