This review goes solely to the managers, NOT the staff or the food.

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon after lots of rain on and off throughout the week. We stop in and there is ONE young girl working..... ONE. The couple in front of us ended up leaving because they waited a while and the couple in front of THEM still hadn't gotten their order taken. This poor girl was working her butt off making milkshakes and dipping ice cream by herself. We waited 15 minutes to order and another 5 for our order...meanwhile, 7 more people came in behind. Once we got our order and went to our car, 2 more vehicles with 7 MORE people pulled in.

If it's a beautiful warm Sunday in spring and you only have 1 person on, maybe you should just consider closing the place or coming in to work yourself.

I have loved them ever since they opened up. Every item is absolutely delicious. We love their ice cream, and now we love their incredible breakfast! Their sandwiches and donuts and any of their baked goods are impeccable. Just thinking about their food makes my mouth water, lol! They are always kind and friendly. One night, I stopped about 10 minutes before close. I popped my head in to see a high school age boy and girl and simply asked them if it was too late to stop and that I wouldn't be offended bc I didn't want to hold them up if they were closing. It is a chill sunny fall day. The wind was whipping and it was perfect to cool down with something sweet. Hometown Creamery is a popular spot in the Upper Perk Valley. I admit I am not one for lines and have waited till now to enjoy the delicious ice cream. Yup...I see why people waited in line. The staff today were friendly and talkative. The country store vibe is great. Reminded me of the corner store growing up with candy, chocolate milk, butter, eggs, and baked goods. The ice cream is amazing. I went for the flight in a boat.
