Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake Co Huntingdon Valley — Restaurant in Upper Moreland Township

Being a Friday in Lent, I stopped in afternoon to get some seafood for me and my wife. They hooked me up with four of theit signature crab cakes, The Smith Island ones, and a pound of his Jumbo Shrimp. Wow! I cooked up the crab cakes with some fresh yellow squash and a baked potato. The cakes were perfect and the jumbo shrimp, awesome! There was much left for breakfast the next day. I put the remainder of the shrimp, crab cakes and baked potato in the frying pan with chopped red bell pepper, onion, hot Italian Sausage and cooked them up together with garlic powder, black pepper and truffle oil from Italy. I scrambled and egg and placed a top the cooked up batch that included Captain Chucky's Jumbo Shrimp and Crab cake and then served for me and my wife. It was excellent!

I have tried all of their crab cakes and I have to say they are all excellent. My family prefers the non-breaded ones (just a preference) but we have found all of Cap'n Chucky's products at this location to be excellent. Their frozen soups are an excellent quick dinner too. Every time I've been in, the folks behind the counter are busy making fresh products in the back (I know it's fresh!!!) and are extremely helpful, friendly and patient. Yes, some of their items are pricey but the ingredients are high quality and expensive items so I think their prices are extremely fair. We are happy customers...

I had the pleasure of trying out this gem tonight! Rarely do I try others crab cakes since mine have no filler but some seasoning and I found a place that can complete. Not only do they use quality crab but the flavor and the price is good too! They also offer some yummy other options like the stuffed mushrooms and Shrimp and wasabi roll. We also got the broccoli and mac and cheese which my 5 year old ate both. I look forward to treating my family to a delicious, and light on the waistline, dinner from...
