Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Upper Moreland Township

First of all when I got to the location they looked like they were closing. Secondly the cashier said give me to seconds turned around got on her phone and then started chatting with her coworkers. She then turned around and realized we was ready. I asked about a few items an some of the selections were not available. I then proceeded with my order and she could not hear anything I was saying or what I asked for and kept saying huh? Then when stating that I wanted a cookies an creme blizzard she kept saying ok you want the black an white simply thinking she knew what I meant like the original cookies an cream me ice cream. I also ordered a small cone with confiti dip. I was give my order which was incorrect the cookies and cream was a chocolate base an I had no choice but to take the order because thier Dennie was that if it wasn’t taken it was going to be an issue. The cone that I ordered tasted nothing like the original Dairy Queen ice cream an had a weird after taste I was also given a stale cone an I was not satisfied and will never return to this location again. I couldn’t even finish the cone because it just did not taste like anything an I grew up Dairy Queen an this was...

This one is a walk-up counter. And one of the few that are open right now (all the rest are closed for the season?). I guess I'm crazy for thinking every season is ice cream season. It only had one staff member that night, but they were highly efficient, receptive to substitutions, and didn't get anything wrong. As a safety concern, I'd get the front walk/patio smoothed out so it's all one level. It's easy to step back and accidentally fall backwards.
