My son wanted Applebee's for his birthday.there are a lot of good choices on the menu. The prices are a little higher than what we are used to. Due to us being sick for the last week, we opted for carside and placed an order online. The online ordering was very easy. About 20 minutes before our pickup time I got a text message asking if we wanted to check in as being on the way. Click on the link and it says order can't be found. Called and spoke to a young girl who was going to transfer me to Carside and she hung up on me. Called back and the man said they had our order and it was almost done. The husband showed up to pick up the order with no issues. The big issue was when he got home with the food and I was giving it to who ordered it. I ordered a chicken breast with onion rings and a house salad. The house salad was not supposed to have dressing or cucumbers. (Right on the box it shows 86 dressing and cucumber.) Sadly I was not able to eat the salad as I am allergic to cucumbers. We did manage to pull them out(there was a ton for just a small salad) and someone else ate the salad. Definitely be aware of you order from here with food allergies. Thankfully I had my other food and we order a few appetizers, but I really wanted the salad that I ordered. It was a little after midnight so I called ahead to see if there were still serving food, they said the kitchen closes in 15 minutes. I walked in and sat at the bar, the place was pretty empty, to my left was one table looking at menus with a server, to my right another table with menus, the bartender had her back to the bar washing glasses and watching TV. I sat and made eye contact with one server but walked right by me, bartender walked away from the bar. I continued to sit and wait, I see who I think is the manager at the end of the bar at a terminal looks at me goes back to what he was doing. Waited, bartender came back sees me and still didn't address me. Finally I got up and left, I called from the car and asked for the manager. He apologized and says " I thought you were being taken care of" Really? I'm sitting there looking at my watch no menu, drink, or maybe even a bill for takeout in front of me is being helped?! NOPE! 3 employees look at me and nothing not even a hello?!? If I could leave no stars!
