The food here is awful. I come here now and then since its closer than the other wawas but I might have to take the drive. It's good for basic needs but dont order the food. I tried their pizza three times. First time, it was delicious ordered a pepperoni with garlic crust. The second time, ordered the same thing but they didnt make the crust garlic so it was basic. The third and last time for ordering pizza was last night. It was heavy! The cheese was overwhelmingly heavy that it bent the paper plate. It was really bad. My mom, husband and I just threw it away and accepted the lose. Before this last time, I got a chicken Quesadilla that had wax/parchment paper inside of it. When I went here for the the cappuccino, it was coming out wrong then me and another woman waited over 20 mins and it was still messed up after they fixed it so then they told us the get something else. No thank you for your patience, no here this coffee is on us. Nothing. Don't...
Read moreFour times I've gone to this wawa with some sort of $1 for a pack of American Spirits, $1 for some vaporizer kit or some other nonsense I'd never buy otherwise and every time its the same story. First the cashier rings me up and tells me $7-10, I tell them "wait, no, the coupon is not $1 off, but a total price of $1". They stare back blankly like I somehow brought reality crashing down. Then they try again and either need a manager who handles the simple task of manually overriding a price in seconds, or they tell me there's nothing they can do and I'll have to pay the original price for something I'm only buying because its supposed to be a dollar. So I have to turn around and walk out like some asshat that can't afford a $10 pack of cigarettes after holding up the line for five minutes. It's ridiculous. Training staff isn't...
Read moreI rarely write reviews of chains like Wawa on Yelp but I figured that this one deserved special attention. It is very convenient to 422 but still manages to be clean and well-stocked for a rest stop location.
This is one of the nicest Wawa's in SE Pennsylvania. It is always clean and is either new or recently renovated. Even the bathrooms were spotless. However, the real draw of this Wawa is the man behind the coffee counter.
His name is Jeff and he is there early in the morning ready to meet students, commuters, and travelers alike. He always has a smile on his face and eager to chat. I don't know how he manages to get all of his work done. The ladies who work there seem to love him.
Do yourself a favor and stop at this Wawa on your way through town. Stop in...
