Giving 5 stars only out of respect as a fellow business owner in the area, otherwise I would give 4. Please reconsider how you price certain items. I shop here weekly, send people here, and even donate here. I’m not sure who is pricing your items but to list a pair of donated FP jeans for resale that were altered by the owner (raw cut along hem and jagged) at $99 is not fair to your consumers. While I love much of what you have, there is someone who is overpricing/price gouging on some of the most random items. I went to purchase a vintage bag, the cashier pulled out her phone to look up the brand and tried to charge $14.99 for a bad that was missing an entire row of beads and had serious sun fade, cream original to a grey color, along one side of the bag. I pointed these out and she dropped it to $11.99 when neither of us could find that exact bag online, only that brand of resold bags in mint condition - that’s what she was basing the price on. I bought one other vintage bag for $3.99 in mint condition. Again, as a small brick and mortar business owner myself, I understand the times but that is just 2 very good examples of overpricing without really taking into account the quality and JUST looking at a brand. You can’t resell a bag in that condition ladies, it’s for personal use...
Read moreI was looking at a very small wet dry vac to purchase. Some guy with missing teeth and a gray beard came along and said " it works. I plugged it in this morning ". I asked if I could plug it in to see and he replied I didn't need to plug it in because he already examined it. He said that when you go to Walmart you take something off the shelf and buy it. I said that Walmart stuff comes in boxes and it's new and this has paint on it and is Dusty and is used so there's a difference. I said" I don't know you or your mechanical ability". He replied"well I don't know you either. Who are you?". I said I am the customer who was going to buy this. I just wanted to see how well it could pick up dirt. The guy was very rude and really should not be in a job related to customers. I ended up not buying the vacuum. If I was allowed to have plugged it in and tested it myself I would have but this greasy guy just creeped me out enough to leave the store and leave...
Read moreHonestly, I was really disappointed with my visit here during the summertime. The options for men's clothing were very limited, whereas the women's clothes took up practically the entire store. I know thrift stores don't entirely get a say in the clothes they have, but I've never seen a thrift store so poorly diversified. All of their books were in poor condition as well, which was disappointing. The prices were also EXTREMELY overpriced. I was finding a lot of Shein clothing, which isn't inherently bad because at least it's being upcycled and not thrown away, but if you're going to put Shein clothing on your racks, you need to price it appropriately; some of the shirts I was finding were upwards of $10. Unacceptable for a thrift store. We want to encourage upcycling and offer clothes that everyone can afford, not limit thrifting to a certain...
