Carlo's Pizza — Restaurant in Upper Saucon

I placed an order for some hoagies. I specifically requested 3 Provolone cheese hoagies because we are vegetarian and 1 Italian hoagie for the only non-vegetarian in the group, as well as 2 orders of fries. I clearly communicated my order over the phone only to arrive home to discover my order was completely wrong. I was given 4 ITALIAN meat-filled hoagies. I then had to call back and was told that "I" had made the mistake and didn't know what I ordered. So I had to return the WRONG order and wait another 20 minutes to receive 3 of the worst hoagies EVER. The rolls were stale and doused in oil, with only 3 slices of Provolone cheese in the entire hoagie. By the time I got home, my french fries were hard, cold, and disgusting. I was treated rudely and without a shred of respect or common courtesy as the paying customer. In fact, I was laughed at on my way out and told to "have a nice night" sarcastically with a smile and a laugh. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Oh, and to top off an already terrible experience, after visiting this "fine establishment" a "mysterious" $6.00 charge (that I did not authorize) on my credit card suddenly appeared, which I am now disputing......a tip perhaps for "service...

My girl and I stopped in to check out Carlo's after we had heard such great reviews from some dear friends. So we decided to get a couple of slices.As we stood at the counter and ordered,I noticed I could see into the kitchen.Now being in the service industry field dealing with sanitation issues in kitchens,I must say I was not impressed. The kitchen appeared dirty and cluttered not to mention the guys in back were eating off of what appeared to be a prep table. And it wasn't even busy so there is no excuse for a dirty kitchen. We sat down with our slices.Both slices fell apart as soon as we picked them up. The cheese was disgusting and we couldn't even finish them. Will not ever eat here again once and done. Listen people if the kitchen is dirty just imagine how the food is prepared. Ecco and Tony's will get our business...

OMG, TODAY IS 2/16/17, I ORDERED $40 WORTH OF FOOD AS I ALWAYS DO FROM MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT!!! I PICKED UP MY FOOD AND DROVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO WORK DURING MY 1/2 HOUR LUNCH BREAK, GOT BACK TO THE JOB TO EAT MY FOOD AND WHEN I OPENED MY GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH, I FOUND THE BOTTOM OF MY BREAD WITH A WHOLE BUNCH OF GREEN MOLD, MIND YOU, I ORDERED FOOD FOR ONE OF MY RESIDENTS AND THANK GOD HE DIDN'T TAKE A BITE BECAUSE HID BREAD WAS FULL OF MOLD AS WELL!!! SO DISAPPOINTING!!! I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!!! AND WHEN WE RETURNED THE FOOD, THE ENTIRE ORDER THAT NEEDED TO BE REFUNDED ON TO THE DEBIT CARD, HE HAD THE NERVE TO BE PISSED!!!
