So, I went here for the first time today on a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed. Starting with the ultra clean interior down to the delightfully moist black bottom muffin and piping hot fresh roasted coffee, this little cafe, nestled in downtown Coopersburg checked all the boxes. Anyone that appreciates great coffee, espresso, cappuccino & lattes should make it a point to visit this charming establishment located right along Main St. Neatness counts when it pertains to the interior of any eatery and nothing can turn a customer off or make a visit go sideways more than a dirty interior. This place sparkles! Not only do they have enough tables in the front and rear of the shop, but they also have a relaxing nook in the front with plush couches and a setee for those inclined to linger longer for great conversation. Afternoon teas and Girls Night Out offerings are the standard here, but make certain that you have reservations otherwise you may just miss out on the delightful occurrences that make Jaquelyn's on Main such a unique experience. Java's up .....
Read moreI come to Jaquelyn’s a lot while my kids are in classes nearby. It’s really cute and clean inside and a really great space. However, it is always cold. I don’t get cold very easily, but I bring my jacket with me only to use in Jaquelyn’s. To be honest, the cold is so uncomfortable that if I could find another place nearby that worked, I would. The coffee is fine. The rotating specials are fun. The music is nice. The food is meh. I was not too impressed with the baked goods, the pastries, or the lunch food I had. I have sometimes had uncomfortable experiences of people staring at me. I don’t think Coopersburg has much diversity. But that is not the owner’s fault. The main reason I come back even over proximity is the service. Brylee is super friendly and great to talk to. Her warmth and charm make me look forward to seeing her. On the other hand, the owner has not been particularly friendly or warm to me.
TLDR: stick to coffee/forgo the food, hope Brylee is working, don’t stay long enough to get cold, maybe avoid if...
Read moreFirst time placing an order with Jacquelyn’s, but won’t be my last! First of all, she was extremely accommodating. We had a meeting set up, which I had to cancel due to illness and she was so kind about rescheduling. I ordered a large cake for a graduation dinner and 6 dozen cupcakes for a party the following day. Everyone raved about the cake, which was two chocolate layers, one confetti layer and a chocolate mousse filling with buttercream frosting. OMG!!! It was fantastic!! We traveled 3 hours with all these goodies for the celebrations and our guests were very disappointed that Jacquelyn’s was not local to them. Couldn’t believe how many people asked about the cake and where it came from. The 6 dozen cupcakes we served the following day were also very much enjoyed. Had a combination of chocolate, yellow, carrot (yum!), chocolate peanut butter, caramel and coconut. Place an order, you will not be...
