I used to live a few blocks away from Al’s in the old neighborhood and loved the food and service. Good news is that the great, friendly service has survived the move. I ordered the store turkey breast and Swiss and got the old favorite Philly Rye bread. Naturally I got my old favorites, macaroni salad, slaw and chicken salad. I dug in as soon as I got home and they’re as great as I remembered. It was the soft opening so there were a few glitches at the cash registers but that didn’t dampen the friendly atmosphere. I can’t wait to grab some breakfast sandwiches!

My co worker ordered a hoagie and when she came back to work to show me we were both extremely excited that the lettuce was on the bottom. There is only one other deli growing up (Reen’s Deli) that did the same thing. If you’ve ever had it that way you would understand our excitement. The bread is super fresh too! I hope Al’s stays in the area for a very long time. We need a good hoagie place close by. The only thing I would recommend is music playing when you walk in. Welcome to the neighborhood!!

I went there today to buy a cheesesteak and cheeseburger and they forgot to make my order and then when they want to make my order, they rushed it and then my food when I got home was even cooked all the way. They use a frozen patty, so the inside was still freezing cold. Very disappointing will not go there again

NOT THE SAME! We used to order the corned beef specials ALL the time and it was thee most amazing thing ever. I would crave this sandwich often. I moved down south and everytime I come up I want to go get that good old fashioned sandwich. I came up for the weekend and made the trip to get it and bring it home and to say it’s a disappointment is an understatement. What the heck is different ? The whole sandwich tastes different. There’s hardly any sauce, the meats dry, the Cole slaw is even tasting different, I don’t know what you guys changed but change it back. This new sandwich or whatever way you’re making them is not good compared to what it used to be. If you can’t uphold the same standards or the same ingredients the old Al used please don’t replicate it and leave it be. The only thing the same is the size it’s bursting with product. But it’s not as good ,...

I ordered pick up and they said 10-15 minutes. Get there and waited about 25 minutes at the drive through for my food. Get my food and my order is wrong, they took it back to fix my order, and still messed it up. My eggs were sunny side up and I asked for overhard. They put the eggs in the microwave to cook them. The eggs were so disgusting I could not eat them at all. They taste like rubber, the potatoes taste like nothing. No seasonings at . Everything is wrong here. The price, the wait, they don’t make your order right. I will never come back, it’s not worth a penny to eat here don’t waste your time. I will say it’s very clean and neat that’s the only thing, they are very clean. But waiting 45 minutes for a breakfast platter and it’s wrong it’s a big no for me. And to get it and it’s nasty, for a $16.00 platter. I don’t see how they’ll stay in business,...

My family and I have been longtime Al’s Corner customers from the Mayfair section of the city. We’ve since moved up to Bucks County and are excited to have Al’s right around the corner again. I stopped in during opening week and picked up a few sandwiches—I’m happy to say it’s the same Al’s we grew up loving: fresh ingredients at a reasonable price.

Just a bit of constructive feedback—it was a little quiet inside. We miss the hustle and bustle of the city. Everyone was very nice but a big “Hey! Welcome to Al’s” as ya walk in the door could go a long way. All in all, we’ll...
