This was such a horrible experience for me and it's truly sad because I have been wanting to try the new cinnabon biscuits for a week now and this just ruined it. For starters, the girl in the drive thru was rude from the beginning who kept asking me "What Else", as if I was bothering her. I ordered the number 13 with 4 cinnabon biscuits. I proceed to the window where I'm told it will be a 15 minute wait. I said it was fine, because I just got off work and really wanted the biscuits. As I waited for 25 minutes, I watched as people literally walked up to the window and reached their hands into the window as they are given bags of food and everyone is just conversing as I continue to wait. The male employee is on his phone in the drive thru. I assume his name is drew which is what was on my receipt even though a girl took my order. The guy leaves with his large bag of food while I still wait. Finally my food is brought to me without a hi, goodbye, or thank you. I get home and my food is atrocious looking with a brick hard biscuit, no mash potatoes with my tenders and the cinnabon biscuits where just slop in a box. This is honestly ridiculous. I shouldn't have had to wait that long to see the unprofessionalism of the employees, just to receive food you wouldn't give to a dog. I'm highly disappointed with this experience. Got there at 6:55 and parked waiting for the app to say food is ready. 7:05 rolls around and get out to go inside to wait. No. Paper sign on the door saying lobby is closed. Currently waiting in drive through just to pickup the food we already ordered and paid for. Haven't gotten the food yet, but it will be at least 7:45 by the time we get the food. If you're offering pickup on GrubHub, you can't force your customers to wait in the drive through. If the lobby has to be closed, offer curbside or close the GrubHub orders.
Edit: 1 year later. I went in today and ordered an 8 piece bucket with two sides of mash potatoes and gravy to go. I said the order twice to make sure they knew I wanted both sides to be mashed potatoes and gravy. I didn't get a receipt, but I assumed after saying my order twice it would be right. Read moreAs per expectations they are slow to respond as much as any other KFC. We ordered our food which consisted of a 3 piece and a sandwich combo. As usual we were asked to pull up while our food is cooked. Fair enough, nobody wants cold food. After 10 minutes I decided to go in and check on our food. Not to my surprise I found that my sandwich fillet had not yet been cooked and I was informed that it would be another 15 minutes or SO. I counted at least 5 employees that were handling food with only 2 customers in the lounge and 3 cars in drive through. I would say that there were enough employees just not managed well on this situation. Experience has reminded me that the average employee hired for this food chain is very sub standard compared to THE STANDARD (Cickfila).
