Update: on 5/13/23 in drive thru, drink was handed to me overflowing and dumped all over my leg and shorts and my cell phone which was on my leg as I was receiving drink through the window. Please don’t overfill drinks. And even though employee saw it was overfilled, didn’t dump excess off or offer napkins. Also sarcastically told me that the I-card (for UIUC students/employees) discount only took a few cents off. Yeah well every penny counts…🤷🏼♀️ also they were mystified by how I wanted an actual receipt. Culvers is one of the only fast food restaurants that doesn’t give receipts without requesting them and never offers them. I use receipts to earn points on Fetch and Pogo rewards apps but also to help track my purchases. They were eventually able to print it but I think the receipt printing process needs to be updated at culvers. Adding pics here of the overfilled drink but that was AFTER a lot of it had already spilled on my leg and my phone so it was way more overfilled originally than is pictured.
Original review: is pictures of a watery flavorless Mello Yello and then the replacement which was given partially filled and hardly any ice. I’ve had the drinks taste weird and flat and be out of flavoring several times at this location. Went back through the drive thru today to show them the problematic watery Mello Yello that looked like it was out of the syrup and they replaced the syrup but then gave me a cup back with like 5 pieces of ice in it and only filled like 3/4 of the way with drink. Culvers in general usually has great customer service but this location isn’t as friendly - they usually are more worried about interrupting you when you try to speak to ask for a receipt and instead they reach out window to point and tell you where to pull your car before you even have a...
Read moreMy wife and I visited separately on the same day. The food was good but the employee helping my wife was rude. The design of their drive-thru is not made for your average size vehicle. There is a curb on your passenger side that they want you to pull past to the right to wait for your food. The curb is too close and you can see that it has been hit by hundreds of tires. My wife was told to pull her full sized Ram truck to the right behind another car. She pulled forward to avoid the curb before turning as to not damage a $400 tire. This left the back of the truck outside her lane. The employee came out to bring another person their order and then proceeded to tell my wife how to park. When she mentioned the curb he decided to tell her that he can avoid it and hundreds of other do too. The markings on the curb show that it's been hit tons of times. Plus, the customer in front of her was pulling away so she could have simply pulled forward but the employee wouldn't get out of her way. I love Culver's food but all three of our local locations have the worst designed drive-thru's ever...unless you drive a...
Read moreI went with my boyfriend and felt very uncomfortable ordering in the lobby the man at the register kept looking me up and down and staring at my chest. I would ask him a question and he wouldn’t answer he seemed distracted so I would ask again and he would snap out of it and answer. I went back after my food to order an ice cream and I waited at the register for 7 minutes because there was 4 people in the back talking about me. I know that because I heard them over the little wall by the drive through window. When they noticed I was waiting the same man came back to the register and I heard one of The girls say “that’s her?? She’s alright..” and I looked over at them and they were all staring at me. I hated the experience will not be coming back to this location they’re rude and inconsiderate made me...
