Dunkins is a donut shop, not a gourmet coffee shop. On top of that, many of their locations have some of the worst customer service of any fast food restaurant or donut shop.
It’s too bad that employees who care about the customers and properly representing the business are in short supply. Dunkin’ Donuts must be really desperate to hire people.
Some of the worst customer service of any coffee shop that I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to hundreds of coffee shops all over the world. Do yourself a favor save yourself some drama and spend one dollar more at Starbucks.
I was literally permanently banned because 3 months prior they imagined that I had said one of the employees was “uneducated.“ What I had actually said was that some of the Dunkin’ Donuts locations don’t properly train their employees. They didn’t even want to allow for the possibility that the drive-thru radio might be not 100% clear. But I know in my heart of hearts that I never said she was uneducated. That doesn’t even feel like something I would say. So then when I asked to speak to the manager for more than literally 5 seconds, they call the police…..with a smile on their face? Kind of the definition of “uneducated.“ Ironic they end up filling the description of something I originally never said but evidently turned out to be true.
Did you know in Florida a Dunkin’ Donuts employee actually killed a customer? Fortunately it’s not that bad in Iowa ….yet, but they definitely need to work on their quality of customer service and loyalty to the brand. This is not the only location that has big time customer service problems.
I will be avoiding all other Dunkin’ Donuts locations...
Read moreI’m not normally one to complain. I’m not the person to rush back to a restaurant to complain about my order like I’m entitled but I’ve been coming here almost daily for two years now. Last year when I was pregnant I ordered a large decaf every day. Almost every day I would receive a fully caffeinated coffee. I can not drink caffeine. I’ve also been ordering the beyond sandwich for months, and I always order with American cheese because I can’t stand white cheddar. Only TWICE I have gotten American. Every other time I get white cheddar. I even started ordering without the egg so they’d have to look at the ticket but nope, still white cheddar. I really love Dunkin’ and the staff seems friendly so I’m not sure why my order gets messed up almost every time I’ve ever ordered. Severely disappointed. I even got a cold sandwich with unmelted cheese last week, but I was running late for work so I didn’t mention it...
Read moreWhoever was working the drive thru speaker was either having a bad day or was just a jerk to us. We asked for a second to review the menu and the guy responded rudely like "give you a second?" We started talking over one another and confused at what he was saying I told him it's hard to hear him. His response was "it's hard to hear you to so you just need to scream and I will scream at you" We said good bye and left! We are not Karen's but we also don't appreciate that rude attitude with terrible customer service. No thanks...I'll take my business elsewhere. We did nothing wrong by asking for a second. I will say this guy's must be new because I go here all the time and never ever had a male serve us, and never had something like this happened ever.
