I stopped by on my lunch break and ordered through the drive-thru. I ordered a grande iced sugar cookie latte with whole milk and two breakfast sandwiches. The line had about 4 cars in front of me and I knew they would be pretty busy since it was the first day of their holiday drinks being released. I got to the window, paid and they handed me my sandwiches and my drink which looked a little different but it was the right size and I was in a hurry. I left and realized it was someone else’s drink and normally I would’ve just said it’s fine but it was an iced coffee with 2% milk so I knew I wouldn’t be able to drink it. I turned around and went inside this time and explained to the man at the counter, Brad, that I was given the wrong drink. He was super polite and asked me what drink I was supposed to get instead and made it for me right then and there while offering to upgrade me to a venti but I declined since I was content with a grande. He was professional and quick to remake my drink and apologized for the mistake. Great customer service. I understand that this time of year is crazy for baristas and especially being the first day that the holiday drinks were released so I completely understand the mixup but overall the customer service was great and the drink...
Read moreI went through Starbucks drive thru on 86Th and I35 near Urbandale IA. I ordered exact way I always order and drink was to watered down. I buy the same thing everything I go to this location. So I went inside told the young woman it was watered down and instead of responding that she would make it again--- she said "I only put a splash of water". There was no offer to remake my drink. Literally I'm drinking this right now and tastes mostly water. I can barely taste the fruit juice part. I paid $1 extra for inclusion powder....that was only thing correct about the drink!! I called the " supervisor" guess no manager on duty today. He offered to remake it if I came back now. No I will not be coming back. I have spent over $150 just in the month of October 2025 at this starbucks. This one customer mistake now gives me perfect reason to stop contributing right now and put that into my savings account each month!! I don’t order at the window because of my complicated order but what’s the difference if I ordered 3 minutes ago on the app or if I order at the drive through? At least the app gives them a few minute head start. So I talked to manager Anthony who did not care to rectify the situation, instead told me I need to wait 10 minutes after placing a mobile order before coming through the drive through, when the app said ready in 3 minutes. Anthony just wanted to argue with me and said he was calling corporate to have me removed from his area. I called corporate, was told there is not a 10 minute rule and was escalated to the district manager who will call me within 24-48 hours. This store needs to take lessons from the Hickman location. And to top it off, my order says NO MILK FOAM and coffee was 2/3 full with 1/3...
