Ordered breakfast tacos shortly after they opened for the day as a walk-in. The guy up front was super friendly, loved his energy. Wish I had that kind of attitude at 8 in the morning!
I ordered three bacon, egg, and cheese tacos. I've had better BECs, but I've also had much worse. Came with a mild hot sauce/salsa, which I appreciated. However, the salsa also pretty much carried the tacos to the gastronomical finish line. They're fine, but a little lackluster without the hot sauce. Might be the tortilla? If my memory serves me, they were flour. I wasn't offered a choice between corn or flour.
BEC is a pretty standard order as far as breakfast tacos go, and the tacos themselves were good for a hungry little morning demon like myself, all things considered. Prices are what I would expect, around the 10 dollar mark. The bacon was strip bacon, which I personally am not a fan of (I prefer chopped in breakfast tacos, lest I become the messiest eater in the metro), but that's preference.
It's in an extremely convenient location with a drive-thru, replacing the old McDonald's I think?
I've had TNT breakfast burritos before (they're huge!) but had never tried their tacos. As it is, the breakfast burritos are--in my opinion--the better value. The tacos aren't bad, but the breakfast burritos are fantastic for an almost identical price. What would put these on equal footing is an avocado sauce/salsa, and maybe a corn tortilla. I'd be in there every single day harassing the poor staff for more tacos on these changes alone.
Fair prices for three decent breakfast tacos, HUGE brekkie burritos, open during my morning commute, and super friendly staff. Will...

Read moreThe prices seemed a bit high, but that was before we got our food. My wife got the carne asada burrito and I got the torta cubana (pictures posted) they were huge! We also got to choose three small salsa options to go with our dishes, and then we ordered the chips and salsa as well, so we got to try all but one of the salsas they offer. They were all really good. I particularly liked the habañero, even though it was almost more like a queso dip (a bit thicker) than the roja and verde. Also got a passion fruit agua fresca. If you've never tried passion fruit you really should. I fell in love with it while living in the Caribbean, and it's hard to find by itself, but it was excellent. If nothing else, I'll be back for that! As you can see from the photo of my sandwich, the Cubana is a bit messy, but totally worth it. The guacamole was fantastic, and it surprisingly went well with the mustard, egg, tomato, and jalapeños. I wouldn't have thought so, but it really worked. We love trying new places, especially local restaurants, and this is one we'll definitely go back to, to try more of their menu items. A flavor...
